I'm totally open to the fact that she was having an off day - I just called it like I saw it and it wasn't a strong panel. There were things that could have been done to make it more solid that weren't. I think she was a last minute addition so I'm not surprised.

I do look forward to hearing her speak again when she's more on her game. Thanks for the input Grace!

Thanks for stopping by! I completely agree with you - my bullet points are merely notes taken directly from the presentation that was given without my own thoughts interjected too much - I typically save that for my wrap up paragraphs. Great point!

Another thing that's possible is that people are recording the shows on a VCR (old school!) and then using a usb video capture card to digitize it, then cut it up & slap it on YouTube. I did that for some old home videos and burned the digital files to DVD, but put some shorter bits on YouTube to share with family.

Also, Justin Long is the "cool Apple" guy and he was also in Waiting..., and Die Hard 4 (that's all they're up to).

Yes, the weather here in Santa Barbara is quite nice. It was pretty hot mid-day, but nice and breezy later on. Even I'm here, Jim! The two first day courses were pretty good, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's stuff.

OH, and my brother has a Zune. He almost had me convinced to buy one but I got an iPod instead since there's such a vast market of accessories for it that no other brand of mp3 player has. I used to have a 1st gen Dell Jukebox that I was totally happy with but got an iPod because I was tired of the lack of support and lack of accessories in the way of cases or docked stereos, etc.

Some people, like myself, have TV capture cards installed on their computer with cable line in and I'm sure there's some kind of software to rip it from while you're watching it on your computer. Maybe even screencasting software? Not sure.
