Your "CoRUPPt Arena" joke must be a knee-jerk reaction. Shall I crank out the cell phone jokes? Nonsense. Nobody wants to have a cheater on their team, and nobody is proud of any sort of history of cheating.

You team played bravely, and I commend them for showing the effort and the heart I expected them to bring to Rupp. You can tell that today the Wildcats were much better adjusted team, and was able to out-talent Indiana on several aspects of the game. Kentucky can't expect to play a crazy tempo (like the first 5 minutes of the game) and hang with more disciplined teams.

I grew up in Western Kentucky on the Ohio River shoreline. I am very content that for this year there will be more UK stuff flying in Southern Indiana. Walking around Tell City in my Big Blue Starter jacket in 1991 was just stellar.

You guys have a long season ahead, and I hope that once your team gets better adjusted to the offense, you'll be able to surprise a few teams in the Big Ten. I have much respect for ITH and their readers, and I hope you guys pour on the love for your candy-striped soldiers this year. Good luck, Hoosiers, and we'll see you again next year.

You people are so hypocritical oh this year is going to be bad we wont be good. Then why be upset about losing to Kentucky at CoRUPPt Arena with 3 freshman starters and two walk-ons starting. The team never gave up till the last second they played with passion and hustle and thats all i ask of them this year not wins and losses but show me they want to play for Indiana and respect the coach and its fans by playing hard for them every game. If it wasnt for Kentucky start 11-13 this may have been close people they never stopped trying and they are going to improve.

I was a huge supporter of Tom Pritchard and become more impressed everytime i see him........he has excellent post moves and just needs to put that touch on his shot and he will be a very good effecient player.

I love the fact the team never quit trying and TC coached the whole game, very fun game to watch makes me more excited to think about the future of Indiana in 2-3 years the team will be loaded with talent and will be a fun team to watch.

Im gonna say Michigan State wins the big ten this year with lucas and roe in the backcourt and morgan in the front court they are going to be a very tough team i do think that Manny Harris will win Big Ten POY and then bolt to the NBA he is very talented and if he reaches his potential will be a helluva player

The thing of it is dumb ass is the fact that he already got busted for it once, came to IU said he wasn't going to do it again and what happened, he did it again. and its not only the phone calls its the kids he brought in, great ball players but not student 19 f's were recorded 19!! that is completely unacceptable. Sampson was a great coach that made a mistake all be it a very minor thing to me but he still did it and did it twice. that is why the beef and the fact he doesnt have the balls to talk about it.

Actually it goes to show he was playing against FC Barcelona........If there was no defense in the NBA then wouldnt JJ Reddik be able to what ever he wants........just goes to show people who do not watch the NBA don't need to be commenting on this just my opinion when it gets down to it EJ will average prolly around 12 points when he starts playing against NBA players instead of people from Barcelona and people trying to make the cut to get on a team they are playing for.

Braswell would be such a good pick up if we do get him I would suspect that a player like Malik Story would probably transfer his playing time would be shot after this year and the idea of Rivers walking on is nice but i dont think literal......this whole thing could come out to be pretty interesting with Braswell we would have what 5 or 6 legit big man with Tijan being the exception and stellar wing and point guard play wow the immediate future is very bright

Nothing against cosby, but I would rather sign a forward or another big in a class loaded with big time bigs, and save it for teague. I just think teague is that much better than cosby. I'd be happy if with we got Ross but Teague is a Indiana product and a lot more upside. we need balance and in 2010 and 2011 we only have a couple of scholarships. It would be nice to have to bigs for the 2010 class and two guards in the 2011 class.

First video I saw of him I disliked but I have watched him more and more and have began to like his game. He long, athletic, can shoot, ify on ball handling but overall if he commits its a great pickup for 2009 and gives us Hoosier fans something to look forward to. Just one question would he play SF or PF if he plays SF I wonder how Nick Williams will like him taking his spot or if Watford would sit the bench......either way this provides more depth to an already stellar 2009 class and really makes me happy that TC is recruiting not only for the future but to win now as well.
