Very good coverage, I learned a lot just from this post alone. I think we're going to start seeing automotive companies becoming more inventive as sales get tougher. They've got to do something!

I'm starting to see cars in my area that have this, but I'm sure it will take a little longer to see it become widespread. However, if the quality is good, I'm sure it will catch on. I'll be trying to see if I can find a car in my area that has this pre-installed.

It's interesting that ad spending is up, despite what is going on in the automotive industry. I hope it will help. I know the dealers in my area are certainly doing all they can to get more sales.

It's interesting to look back and see all that has changed since this post. The automotive industry is certainly in a lot more trouble - let alone housing. How quickly things can change!

Wow - that is a great little GPS system to have. I was shopping for a new car and was really hoping to find one built in. However, I may just get this one since I like it better.

Great advice here, especially #2. So many people ignore this one. However, it may not be a bad idea to get a domain that has more specific relation to your niche, especially if you're not well known yet, in addition to the one that is branded.

If the router wasn't so expensive, I would probably get this. It will be interesting to see if any of the other automakers follow suit. I would guess Honda and Toyota would since they seem very on top of the changing industry.

Wow - this is really starting to hit home, especially in my area. We have so many small businesses and car dealers that are going under. I hope something can be done to help the little guy!

It's not an easy issue by any means, but I'm noticing a lot of little businesses are failing and hopefully this bailout will make a difference. In the end, it will all come down to whether or not the funding reaches those who really need it. Very good post - thank you!

This bailout is unfortunately necessary in many ways. I enjoyed your post though, gave me quite a lot to think about. In my area, it's the little dealers that are really suffering, so in the end, hopefully the bailout will trickle down to help them.
