Agencies that did "branding" were new in the 60s. The old way was to make your dough by a % of the media buy.

Re: Mad Men Season Two: “Flight 1″

I liked that one too.

Re: Mad Men Season Two: “Flight 1″

Any thoughts on what the conflict between Don & Duck is? Dan-O is a Hillary supporter, FYI.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/02...

One slight problem-Obama's school IS elitist. He was from Kenya and met Obama's mother while going
to school in Hawaii. He abandoned the family and moved back to Kenya when Obama was three. He only visited Obama once or twice when Obama was a little kid. He
died in a car crash in Kenya back in the 1982.

Re: The Times Raises Another McCain Non-Issue

That is the most ridiculous press release that I have ever read.

You make it sound like Obama applied for Kenyan citizenship. Reading between the lines, it is clear that the people responsible for pushing this story are saying that any child of a native Kenyan is automatically declared a "Kenyan citizen" just like Jewish people are automatically granted Isreali citizenship.

Is this even true? No evidence is provided whatsoever and other elements of the story are clearly wrong.

Re: The Times Raises Another McCain Non-Issue

I have actually heard this argument for weeks now on my local right wing talk radio station. Lots of Romney supporters are calling in and bringing this up in an attempt to get their guy back in the race.

I have yet to hear a Democrat raise the issue. It is obviously a stupid one.

Re: Obama Getting Bad Military Advice

But Tom, General Casey is only the Army Chief of Staff -- not a blogger playing with his G.I. That's NO "denial". That's Clintonian parsing. They're counting on their dim-witted aupporters to believe this tripe:

"Asked if the campaign had any role, Wolfson said, "No, not to my knowledge...I've never seen that picture before. I'm not aware that anyone else here has. I'm not aware that anyone here has circulated this e-mail."

Thar's NOT a denial. That's parsing and spin.

"Wolfson also grew exasperated with a reporter who pressed the issue, saying: "If you have any original reporting to suggest that this campaign was circulating this e-mail, please let me know."

"We've been very clear that we're not aware of it," he added. "Obviously the campaign didn't sanction it, and don't know anything about it."

That's not a denial either. Except to people who believe everything the Clintons and their minions have uttered over the past 20 years.

Re: Not An Aphrodisiac

No they are too busy trying to slander people who are.

Re: Not An Aphrodisiac

Yes, actually they have. http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/

Re: Not An Aphrodisiac

Yes,.... that is why she wears pantsuits. After that speech, Hillary hugged and kissed her.

She's also taken money from the American Muslim Alliance, which has condoned terrorism. She gave it back, but it took her four months to do so.

And during the 1980's, lawyer Hillary Rodham Clinton served on the board of the New World Foundation, which funneled money to the Palestine Liberation Organization, at a time when the PLO was officially recognized by the United States as a terrorist organization.

Re: Not An Aphrodisiac

I didn't realize Free Republic was running for President.
