Forget about FNC....HLN is rocking the house! Nancy has beat or nearly tied Fox quite a bit lately, and even Jane Valez-Mitchell is becoming very competitive in the 7pm slot.

It's interesting though -- I don't watch CNN 24/7, but during almost every commercial break (especially during primetime) there seems to be an ad for Nancy Grace, but Campbell's promo seems to be lacking. Wonder if they just gave up on her?

Interesting night....KO getting beat by NG despite his long absence, Cooper losing to Greta despite Cooper's well-promoted "live" show from the Gaza strip, Jane Valez-Mitchell coming in 2nd in the 7pm slot, and Baier making a good demo debut.

Why CNBC gives him such a prominent role on their daytime programming is BEYOND me. If they REALLY wanna keep him, put him on 8pm during their "CNBC Reports" or something...otherwise, he's just a big embarrassment on one of their most important shows.

I'm quite sure Anderson Cooper will label this news as "Breaking News"...at 10pm...or 9 hours from now (who wants to place a bet on that? lol).
Then, of course, he'll go do another interview with some newspaper and roll his eyes at other networks who do the same thing. Or maybe he'll cry about it to Kathy Griffin tomorrow in Times Square.

OH yeah I noticed the SAME thing. Like in September for example, EVERY night they'd flash "BREAKING NEWS" at 10pm. What was the news? The stock market plunge from earlier in the day. Is news that broke at 4pm (6 hours ago) still "breaking news"?

And on a different note, as much as I like AC, it really annoys me to see how he sits at his desk EVERY SINGLE DAY....yet the promos on CNN show him out and about like he's a "real" journalist or something. Gimme a break! He's really no better than a dayside Headline News anchor. What's the difference? They both sit there, at their desk, and read the teleprompter.

I think you're quite wrong there, IMO. Bloomberg viewers are serious investors who want hard news all the time, and to the point. I doubt many BB viewers could put up with the constant fluff and non-biz related news....

LMAO that's hilarious....especially considering their TOTAL ratings are lower than Donny Deutsch's DEMO number....and that show got the axe, yet FBN is attempting to be a "viable competitor" with numbers like that.
