It seemd like the movie couldn't decide if wanted to a superhero film, a comedy or a bad episode of the twilight zone. I disaree with you Charlize she was just eye candy. Overall it wasn't a bad film it just seems like they couldn't pull it together to make a great film

Re: Method Man talks about his new graphic novel and comics in general

My point was that he is saying the same things that "fanboys" are saying about the films. How are you making the distinction between what a genuine response vs pandering. To me someone whose pandering would say how much they loved the films and leave it at that.

Re: Wolverine

Depends on whose directing it. When I go back and watch the those X-films, I realize that they could have been much better. I think that more recent comicbook based films have raised the bar. I always imagined a Wolverine film as beign part "300" and part "Unforgiven"

Re: Quick Review: Wanted

I will probably check this out.

Re: Method Man talks about his new graphic novel and comics in general

I think he gets it. If you walk into a Borders right now you can find dozens of tradepaperbacks which basically contain one complete story line. His main complaint is similar to one I have made in the past. Pick any of the popular stoory lines and make it into a film. I disagree with you on him panderign ot fanboys. The specific complaints he mentioned refelect the way a large number of fan boy about the filsm like spidey 3 X-men 3 and both FF films. If he is pandering he did his research
