I look for the exact opposite of my father.

Respectful, thoughtful, kind, understanding, jovial, patient, a provider, a lover, a friend. A whole person prior to the realtionship. Someone who does not abuse, use or mistreat me but values and appreciates me. That's just the preface to the qualities I desire.

Ultimately Ness, I look for a KING........and any man who does not know what all that entails certainly cannot own the attributes.

I dont' understand that either. There really isn't a grey area when dealing with people. Either you are together or your not. I think sometimes this gets twisted because one has clearly stated they don't want to be with the other, BUT their actions are showing the opposite. Maturity plays a major role in this senario as well.

And also, not letting go can lead to a stalker situation.

Very intersting Ness. I was having a similar conversation over dinner Saturday night.I'm not sure I want to state that someone is strong or weak, I will however say that it takes honesty. Being honest with yourself and the person(s) that you're dealing with. One should love themselves enough to know when to sever ties.
I like to compare it to people who serve many years in the pen. Different environment, same mentality, you become institutionalized and what ever you are dealing with becomes your "norm" and way of life.
If something or someone is no longer serving your higher purpose and greater good you have to let it go. No man woman or shild should be worth anyones well being.
