  • StevenHodson  I don't think that there has been a single workable LCARS theme that has wotrked .. that said one alternative is to check out the Stardock DesktopX system (http://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/ ) and all the available "themes" for it ( http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=31&search=LCARS ) that might be what you are looking for

  • StevenHodson  as I said to J. Phil the time slot is still something of being in a state of flux for a couple of reasons that became apparent during a conversation with Mark. For the next couple of days I'll be thinking it through but chances are the show may shift to being an evening one timed so that timezones (EST and PST) are taken into account so that it might be easier for more interation which for me is the key factor of it. As well this is because of another idea that I am still in the planning stages of which will be much more suited for an afternoon show for the cubicle workers :) the Discussion Points show will also be downloaded as well once I get all the bugs and other problems shorted out.

  • StevenHodson  thanks for the words of encouragement. Besides the fact that Talkshoe appears to have eaten my first attempt I did make a local recording which just got uploaded so it will take a little bit to show up. there weren't any callers in but I was kinda expecting that so the show isn't that long. Plus I'll be playing around with the time slot a bit as I have another idea that is being worked on as well that will be better suited to the afternoon. As for adding the feed let's give it a few days or a week until I get the bugs worked out of the format and see if people get involved since that is the whole idea.

  •   Louis Gray  I agree. And on your birthday nonetheless! Sometimes, I think you and your readers like you more than you like yourself. I don't want to read any more about how much older you're feeling or how frustrated you're getting and all that dark stuff. You're a good guy, and if you're surrounding yourself with things that aren't making you happy, make a change. It's one thing to be a critic and another to be analytical, but you can drive yourself into a ditch where it's not very friendly.
