I also used to do meth and was curious about this shake and bake method that is in the news everywhere.
Nevertheless I don't appreciate the preaching and I hope you realize that no one who is determined to make meth is going to suddenly "see the light" because of some random person's righteous trip.

I read some of the comm. left by "meth heads" and or former "meth heads" on this link. I say to all that there is only 1 way to go when you are liveing life for shards.DOWN....I am clean now for 3 years. Im lucky to have left it alone and to this day dont know how i did. I know I dont want to use meth agn but I also know I have to stay as far away from IT a poss. I have a great deal of respect for the drug because I know first hand where it would take me and what my life would be like. Anyway for all who are useing I say be carful, try eating a sandwitch and go to sleep. Theres always "tomarrow" guys. And for all who have broke free. We are lucky to have made it to that "tomarrow". And can not judge the ones who will. ..God willing..Gods speed..

Bummer - I am highly saddened by that fact that you "question my integrity" </sarcasm>. I am not the one searching "making meth" online -- I also don't control what search engines serve you when you search such a phrase.
Contrary to your belief, just because you are a U.S. citizen doesn't mean you have the "right" to know anything and everything there is to know just because it's online. Last time I checked, that wasn't part of the constitution. You do however have the right to your opinion and to make said opinion public, but it would be nice if you actually read what is written thoroughly before jumping to conclusions and spouting off.
I am (not) sorry you feel mislead in your searches for how to make meth - I am sorry however that you seem so misinformed.

i heard sometimes if the glass tooter isnt hot enough, the meth will go into your nose but not aporize all the way, turning into this hot oil in ur nose. he said it was not fun at all

Usury is also a sin. Jesus crashed and threw out all the moneylenders in the temple while he was alive. Yet we openly condone credit card companies who charge mega-usurious rates of interest. Conveniently this is forgotten or glossed over by 99.9% of religious groups in the name of modernity (or no name at all). Ditto for shopping on Sundays.

God also hates figs and shellfish. But we eat those without a second thought. The problem with this line of thought guys is that if you're going to take the bible at literal value, you can't just pick which parts of the bible to take literally and ignore the rest. The whole thing is a living code.

I'm amazed nobody from the Christian groups in the States have made a connection to the world economic situation and god punishing us sinners for engaging in usury.

I found this by misspelling a word in dictionary.com that sent me to "meth", which provided a direct link to "how to make meth". Scary. I'm so glad that someone like you has made a page like this. FYI, all of the recipes I found won't work, but won't explode either. The real problem is the fumes that they will create for some poor kid to breathe.

Jeanette your story/testimony is amazing. Thank God you are alive to tell it. I for one am grateful for your sharing this with others. I think that alot of people see those faces of meth photos as scare tactics and don't realize that meth can and will attempt to destroy you from the inside out.

Wow, ice/piss....................wierd how the 2 kinda go together, kind of like "icedpiss"! You see thats all of our point, METH does that to us, it gives us an uncaring ice cold heart and a pissed off attitude....I wonder if your Family member was dead or dying from this stuff would you behave so uncaring as you are now? Yeah, maybe so, I've been there. And I pray that God brings the hottest TORCH upon your life to melt that ICE COLD PISS that has frozen your soul, try what we have for 14 days, thats how long it takes to break any habit, and do it NOT in the jails or hospitals where alot people HAVE to NOT do it, but in the streets where you live and I know you will see life once again as clean, fun loving and healthy... You too "ice and piss can start enjoying life with a glass of cold tea instead of ICEDPISS, TRULY I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!

You are so right about the cravings. That's why I really like the 12-step program and having accountability as well. Those cravings kill for sure :(
Everyone has different experiences it seems. This is really a kind of generalization of the first couple days, but I do thank you for your input. It's always nice to get stories from others that have gone through the detox process as well.

This poem has been doing the rounds on the internet for years and is posted all over the place. It's become a sort of cult favorite among meth users and survivors. It's very well written and if you are the original author, then you did a great job.

Maybe I should have said "newly popular". You're right though, I remember a guy that used to do it this way probably 10 years ago. No one really understood why he used it that way, but he swore it was a better way to use.
I am still unsure as to how it's different than just smoking it and inhaling it straight into your lungs rather than through the nose and into the lungs - possibly a different rush, but just as dangerous.
I forgot to mention in the above post about burns to the hands. That same guy I mentioned literally had blistered hands from doing hot rails.

Unless there is something new I don't know about, Clorox (Bleach) is not used to make meth. They might be the worlds cleanest people (hypochondriacs) or have taken up selling bleach on a large scale. (haha ok I'm sorry - I thought it was a little funny :)

Anyhow, your comment got me thinking so a wrote a post just for those like you who may be concerned about a neighbor that is making meth in their house.

Firstly, thank you for for the compliment. The message really holds true and it's a message that I believe has to be said over and over in your mind and in your heart if you want to be rid of this addiction.
With a powerful 20 year long story of addiction I can imagine that you have a powerful story to tell along these lines.

Ugh that sucks! Poor lil' pups.

I used to have a pitbull - I rescued her as a pup from some trailer in the middle of nowhere. She was bread to fight, but I raised her right and she was the most loyal dog I ever owned. I will never own another breed of dog to be honest. So it pains me that much more the hear about pitbulls in the drug trade. They seem to be the mascott for all that sucks in this world these days and it's so, not right.

Lest ye forget the amount of people in prison on drug charges and nothing more. I am not sure what the answer is, but legalizing something as destructive as meth would do society no good. Do you think people could use meth like alcohol in moderation? Most people that drink alcohol, do so responsibly I would assume - but meth is a whole different beast. I've not met one person who has stated they used meth recreationally who didn't turn to a zombie within months. With all of that said however, I do think something needs to be done about the amount of people in prison due to a drug addiction.

I SO admire what you are trying to accomplish. You are correct in saying that many, many professionals fall victim to meth. I have written about a few of them here and read about many, many more; it seems that the common binding factor is pressure to perform on the job.

That's an amazing story Kona. It's tough to walk away from everything you know and start a new life. You are obviously very strong and I hope your story here will also help others just like Dr Psych's story. I am so happy for you both!
