Jindal sold us on this ethics bill of goods. He represented repeatedly that this ethics agenda would precipitate the type of change sorely needed in this state.

He ran his campaign squarely on a change in the ethics laws of this state, would bring jobs and prosperity.

Now he got what he asked for, and I personally can’t weight for the GMs, and Toyotas of the world to knock down our door. The large factories and strong stable jobs should be right around the corner. Who knows maybe the port city of New Orleans long recognized as one of the largest ports in America will lead the way to international fiancé, and trade.

Or is the reality more in line with the fact that we won’t improve our economic plight if Johnny can’t read. When he finally does learn life’s basic skills he has one foot in the grave because of inadequate or insufficient health care.

Statewide housing is a huge problem not recognized by this governor,

Education is not on his agenda, not just K-12 but our small universities, and HBCUs are dying on the vine.

So yeah, Jindal got his package through the legislature, along with some free tickets to Hannah Montana.

But at least the we are ethical in our poverty.
