It's how we do presentations in all of our meeting rooms as well, including with guests. They can screen share with no login/app setup.

It's like Zoom with your own meeting room but it's on a simple URL. You just open it on any screen in the conference room. The guest does the same and you're both looking at the same presentation

It's avail at https://appear.in

Re: ChangeTip Raises $3.5 Million in Seed Round for Bitcoin Micropayments

Says you contacted investors but I don't see that email. With regard to the point of prematurely scaling customer acquisition I totally agree. I have personally scaled businesses too quickly resulting in an inevitable crash. The point I was trying to focus on was having some data around ACQ costs is better than nothing. Still seeing a lot of companies who are 1 year down the road without it. So even with small budgets it's good to start somewhere. Just like it's good to start building you company instead of just talk about.

I normally disagree with most things Fred writes so I don't think we're in sync on much. :) I do however appreciate that he's one of the few investors talking about it.

Re: How to Talk to Investors about Marketing and Growth

Thanks for the comment I agree, SaaS and B2B marketing is never covered very well online. We talk about this on the team and hope to start demystifying it soon.

Re: How to Talk to Investors about Marketing and Growth

There's lots of free marketing a tiny business can do. If anything being tiny and broke makes your scrappier which always helps.

At the same time, even allocating a tiny amount of money to a few tests is recommended. You're likely to learn a few things.

Re: The Why of Where I Write

I think Disqus ate my other comment. So I usually recommend people go long on "yourname.com" with a CMS. It's a lot like owning a home vs. renting the sexy newly built apartments across the street.

Wordpress is my favorite home and has been for awhile. Of course should it ever not be I know my data stored there is extremely portable. That's never guaranteed when you rent.

Re: 5 SEO Wins that Take 5 Minutes

Totally still a thing, just evolved.

Hours to add a tag to a document for webmaster tools?
