Guys like you probably think anything he does is "arrogant", and we all know what that's code for. Besides, Bush spent nearly 900 days on vacation, guy. Set the record for US Presidents by only a hair over Reagan. Was on vacation a month before 9/11 and during Hurricane Katrina (which didn't put a crimp in his plans). So, have some perspective.

A date night in NYC for President Obama and the First Lady isn't going to bankrupt the nation.

Not wholly accurate. Obama supports the possibility of drilling on lands already designated for drilling, and McCain wants to ignore what we already have to drill in even more locations. Nuance, perhaps, but an important distinction. As for nuclear power, Obama's supported it in Illinois, but hasn't committed 100% to doing so as President. As for liquid coal - I don't know as much about that issue, so if that's true, that's not good. But it's the dent in the Rolls Royce, people. At the end of the day, it's about November 4, and picking one of these two cats to be President. Who would you rather see in there, warts and all?

I hate admit it even to myself, but it was going to be law anyway. Once Pelosi caved, that was it. But I don't think this is nearly as apocalyptic as everyone else. If you really think Bush & Co. think that they need a FISA law to enable them to spy on us, you need to wake up.
