I can't imagine that. Strictly olive oil when I make mayo.

Yeah, I got cute about it once and added a *little* raw walnut oil--the only time my mayo has ever broken.

I did a 25% avocado-oil/75% canola mayo at thanksgiving that worked really well. Olive is probably my face though...

Walnut oil is good for baking too, if mixed with canola (rises better that way). Makes a very crispy-edged crust on gingerbread!

As for unrefined walnut oil in mayonnaise--do not attempt!

Betsy--you're not alone. I missed the boat on Lost and have not wanted to watch later/current episodes without having seen the beginning of the series. So, I've never seen a single episode.
