spent twenty years in corporate America, before I came to my senses. Yes I was successful, with a track record of inspiring people to succeed in a changing environment, creating high performance teams in retail, manufacturing and service organizations. (Blah, Blah, Blah… )Throughout the years, I was always a bit out of step; more comfortable with my customers and team, then my peers and managers. Why: Because the higher you climb on the corporate ladder, the less actual work you do, and I enjoyed the work. So I gave up the fancy VP office, huge staff, big budget and the frustration of never actually getting anything done.
