I LOVE this. I'm nuts about poppies anyway, but the depth of field makes this look like an impressionist painting. Love the contrast between the dark at the top and the field of poppies with just the hints of blue behind the trees. Suggests transitiveness of beauty, life and death.

I don't sent stuff out anymore, but when I did I liked to use services like iContact, which works really hard to be whitelisted by even the notoriously difficult AOL.

Thanks, Steve, for clarifying things for me. I agree that Daniel is on to
something and I was impressed, though not surprised, that he would want to
monitor the thread. That's what good geeks do. He's definitely someone to
watch; with his vision and commitment to excellence, he is probably a
pleasure to know.

Everything displays nicely now, but when I first tried to use it, I couldn't get it to display properly until I reloaded the page in an IE tab. The community joining thing was kind of confusing because I was focused on leaving a comment, not joining another social network (I'm 56! My grey head will explode!). Personally, I hate having to register in order to comment, and if I'm feeling particularly tired or the site is someplace I don't frequent, I'll blow off leaving a comment. Having said that, I've decided I must return to moderating the comments on my blog because of sneaky spammers. I don't know that requiring registration would end that, but I'm not willing to go there, yet.

I have always been sure that sales jobs were a necessary evil, but not for me. Plaid suit and moustache? Not in this lifetime. But cheerleading for others and looking for common ground are things I love. Could it be? Thanks for the food for thought, Steve.
