I have done a few tests but wasn't very happy with the results. I have submitted a video in Italian but the language was not recognized. I then submitted an article in English but the results were definitely unimpressive.

Are you still working on it?
How can I set the language before processing and improve the quality of the summaries generated?

Many thanks,
Robin

Re: Senza scampo

Michele Mezza dice il giusto. The older they grow, the better they get, but only if... we keep updating, revising and improving the info inside of them.

What do you think?

Re: The Problem With Trusting Archive.is

There is a new tool (Chrome extension) that seems to offer the right recipe: https://chrome.google.com/w...

*"Archiveror archives webpages by submitting them to archive.is, archive.org, webcitation.org or by saving a local copy in MHTML format. I think it is a first of its kind and can be very useful indeed for many people.

P.S.: By excerpting a longer piece of content from a publisher article there 's no risk of search engine ranking penalization by Google. The worst it can happen is that the original content will stand higher up than your curated than yours for relevant keyphrases. If you have an official reference from Google stating differently please do share its URL. (see: https://blog.kissmetrics.co... )

One small item to fix:
The second and third images in the article appear somewhat blurry and out of focus (screenshots with Mac retina display?) diluting somewhat the quality of your content. Can you do anything about them?

Re: 5 Must-Have Tools for Every Startup

Human curated news without a "voice" and a strong focus, tend to get lost. A voice is needed to interpret, understand and make sense of what is being presented and a strong focus helps both the readers and the publisher to focus not on coverage and quantity but on problem-solving and quality.

Re: A Hand-Held Guide To Get Started on Rabbut

Cool. (for many) is perceived as very unethical.

As an author I think you are responsible to provide good and sound advice on how this great tool can be put to good use.

I am sure that sentence above escaped your verification checks, and it is not an open invitation to everyone to literally do what you wrote. I agree.

What these tools are good for is just to help content marketers, without any subject-matter expertise, competence or vetting ability, to easily find stuff that looks great from the title and to regurgitate it to the web as extra noise with no added context or value at all.

There are of course exceptions but they are quite rare.

Re: MoMB: MoMB 10

Thanks MoMB for all of the great discoveries, tools and resources you have helped me discover.

Re: Come Creare Un Business Online Senza Dover Dipendere Dalla Pubblicità: La Storia Di Robin

Certo che si.

Re: Content curation on WordPress: how to do it right.

Hi Sarah, you certainly would lose the opportunity to use Scoop.it as a venue through which new readers can discover you, but there would be certain sites that would prefer to do so, if they already enjoy good traffic and if they, for some reason, do not want:

1.
