Median price is a preferable statistic to average price when looking at small data sets like these. Median price numbers:.

- Easton $562,000
- Redding $560,000
- Weston $672,500

Unfortunately, the consequence of little to no commercial tax base in all three towns makes the exceptionally expensive school systems a determinant of real estate taxes.

This issue has plagued me on several systems. It began about a week ago. It has happened on one system twice. All machines were running Windows 10.

I had to reconfigure OneDrive on each system as if I were just initializing the system. Then OneDrive resynced as if it were the first time. What a waste of my time.

It is likely a problem with Microsoft servers. OneDrive used to be relatively bulletproof, no longer.

I am ready to give up on both OneDrive and OneDrive for Business as they are both unreliable, which is unacceptable to me in a file sync service.

FWIW, I have never had this problem with Dropbox or Google Drive.

Mr. Cameron's idea suffers from the same problem that plagues CT's vehicle property tax—out-of-state vehicle registrations for CT resident vehicles, which evade the property tax. Why does he think that his idea won't just exacerbate this issue? Generally, the higher up the income scale one is the easier it is to do this. So his idea is one which makes CT's tax system even more inequitable than it already is.

Generally, a simple, graduated income tax is a better solution to equitably paying for all of CT's government. We don't need more, different types of taxes and fees. We need less and simpler ones.

Further to the fail of the the BOE and Schools Administration in creating this budget, was the budget to purchase 600 Chromebooks. The BOE are buying these on a 5-year agreement. These devices are likely to last 36 months or less due to the ever changing nature of tech. This is a classic mismatch of asset and liability duration. Weston will be paying for these computers long after they are obsolete.

The BOE is proposing to pay between $350-$375 for each device when they can be bought for $250 or less on Amazon and elsewhere. Chromebooks are pretty much fungible so buying more expensive ones is wasteful.

I recently raised this issue with BOE member Nina Daniels, who after initial push-back, tells me that it is now under review because I raised this issue. Weston can save at least $65k by buying less expensive Chromebooks and perhaps more than $100k.

I have to wonder where else the BOE and schools administration is squandering taxpayer money with poor or no due diligence in purchasing non-tech services and supplies.

I too don't understand the bias against Xbox Music. I want Xbox on my Sonos. Favoring Tidal is an insult to the over 500 Sonos owners who have asked for Xbox Music for several years without any action on Sonos's part.

I hate PowerShell. Yes, it is powerful but it is an arcane language that requires a very steep learning curve.

If command line were such a great thing why did Microsoft abandon DOS and go to Windows?

I have been working with computers since before personal computers and see PowerShell as a retrogression not a step forward. I prefer the GUI all the time.

Problem with your method is - is it "My Computer" or "Computer" or "This PC" or none-existent in the Start menu (assuming there even is Start Menu)? My way works regardless of OS version or Start Menu configuration.

Thanks this helped fixed an issue I was having with a Toshiba Portege laptop.

I would like to return the favor of your effort.

You can access the Device Manager window much more quickly in any version of Windows by using the "Run..." command (Windows Key+R), typing "devmgmt.msc" in the Run dialog "Open" field, and clicking the "OK" button or hitting the "Enter/Return" on the keyboard . This will save a lot of steps in your procedure.

Thanks again. This fixed a recent issue that was causing me to consider replacing the computer.

I think the update to Snagit is junk. Techsmith broke what worked. I can't easily find the text tool, which is a problem. Furthermore, I am unpleasantly surprised by screen animations that I didn't expect and, frankly, don't want. I am seriously considering uninstalling the new version and reinstalling the older one, which is what I liked. These changes are flapdoodle..

Simultaneous multiple zone AirPlay is not enabled on any of my iOS devices. It works fine from iTunes on either Windows PC or Macs.

Another work around is to find the file in Finder and then duplicate it and rename the duplicate. More work but better/safer than Versions.
