I have Psiloc and Smart connect, however many of the apps I use are third-party, such as gmail, opera mini, and twibble. These apps ask me everytime I open them (and a few times while I'm using them) if it's okay for them to use the connection, then to choose which one. It's all very well that I can just choose one default access point, but is there no wy to get these apps to use this by defaults?

Pulling my hair out here.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving from Cape Town...!

Re: Not so fanatical about Fanatics

I don't even bother with my fanatics card anymore, I prefer shopping at Estoril and their prices are about 10% cheaper anyway thus nullifying the discount. That way I can control everything from my steering wheel, it's about R2000 installed.

The iTrip and similar unpowered FM transmiters suck. They suck bad.

However, while my car's been geetting fixed I needed an alternative and went for Griffin's RoadTrip (R550, WW computers, Cretsa). I'm blown away by how good this unit is, really blown away, so much so I bought a second one for my wife. The trasmission to FM 88.1 is perfect and it charges too.

If you want the sexier option, the icelink rocks, but having said that, I have found no fault with the RoadTrip.

Hope this helps...!

Re: Love podcasts

Hey Guys,

In iTunes, select "advanced" then "subscribe to podcast", paste the above mentioned feed into the box tha appears, and you're subscribed.

Easy peasy japanesy...!

Re: Love podcasts

Hey Guys,

In iTunes, select "advanced" then "subscribe to podcast", paste the above mentioned feed into the box tha appears, and you're subscribed.

Easy peasy japanesy...!

Re: Plenty CDs and someone to load them …

Dude, if you come right with this, please let me know. When I started Missing Link I did have a full time job, however when I eventually took the plunge, while slightly more established, I still needed to work my arse off the first few years to make ends meet. That challenge was important though, I worked hard because the alternative was not eating, I think that helped a lot.

That's why I disagree with the VC option, where's the risk?

You need to put your cock on the block...!

Re: A storm is brewing

Are you at Werksmans?

Re: Truncated posts, or not?

I cant begin to tell you how much I hate truncated posts, why force a reader to click through?

Re: MTN drops prices for mobile data drastically

Yeah, it rocks, I've ordered the 1gb pakage, it's going to save me a shit-load (I do all my night time web stuff on gprs, costs a few bob)...!

Re: del.icio.us feeds

Del.icio.us is more a bookmark manager, you can manage your blogroll in typepad, it's called a typelist....!

Re: Posting in other ways

Yeah, I swear by Ecto, it's very bloody cool:

http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/

Well worth the reg fee...!

Re: Stop me quick …

Here's a few of my favs, it's a random spread:

Creating Passionate users:
http://headrush.typepad.com/creating_passionate_users/index.rdf

Todd's bizlink blog
http://www.apennyfor.com/bizlinkblog/index.xml

5ives
http://www.5ives.com/index.xml

Alexoid:
http://alexoid.blogspot.com/atom.xml

I love pdg
http://ilovepdg.blogspot.com/atom.xml

Johnnie Moore:
http://www.johnniemoore.com/blog/index.xml

Brand autopsy:
http://brandautopsy.typepad.com/brandautopsy/index.rdf

D2 Redefined
http://www.d2.co.za/blog/SyndicationService.asmx/GetRss

That's a whole buch for you, enjoy...!
