Beer nuggets were awesome! The best were Sgt. Pepper's, J.P. Hannigan's and Pizza Villa. Pizza Villa is still there, and I definitely remember the Villa trucks circling the dorms and buying a bag of nuggets off of the truck. They usually had a coupon stapled to the bag for future orders. Been several years since I've been back to DeKalb, so a visit to Pizza Villa for some nuggets is definitely in order!

I remember this song got a LOT of airplay back in the summer of '84. Despite not being "officially" issued as a single (and depriving Jermaine of a sure #1), it eventually ended up as the b-side of "Do What You Do" (while an instrumental version was the b-side of "Dynamite"). Friday Night Videos also did an "unofficial" video using about two minutes of the song.

Received my BluRay yesterday. Watched the TV version this morning, and the pawnshop scene wasn't part of the full TV movie provided due to the elements not being in good shape. You can however still see the scene as a stand-alone bonus scene on Disc #2.
One word of caution, you may be doing a bit of fast-forwarding after the part one "cliffhanger", as they ran the end credits and then a fairly lengthy "recap of part one" before the action picks up where it left off.

In addition to the newlyweds on the airplane sequence (featuring Debralee Scott), I remember an additional scene with George Kennedy after confronting the speeder, a scene with Marjoe Gortner coming to Victoria Principal's apartment (followed by Victoria giving a creep the brush-off on her way to the movie), and a scene with the goons who hassled Marjoe trying to claim something from a pawn shop after the quake and being confronted with a rifle by the shop owner's wife.

Thanks for sharing your Bimini Code recollections here Jeff, that is Awesome! I finally had a chance to view my VHS tape about a year or so ago when I went back home to visit the family (they still have a functioning VCR). It was as cheesy as I remembered but still a lot of fun! (How can you not like the "Two girls" song???)

Vinegar Syndrome is releasing a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack of DEAR DEAD DELILAH on August 28, 2018. If their preview trailer on YouTube is any indication, they must have gotten their hands on a print that was in really good shape. My pre-order is in!

MARTY WILDE - Abergavenny (1969). Some folks remember hearing this on Captain Kangaroo, but this was a pretty big hit in Chicago in the summer of '69, cracking the Top 20. (Marty is Kim Wilde's father, in the States the single was released under the pseudonym "Shannon")."
