I must forgive myself for not listening to my inner voice. I believe we are trusting beings by nature and we don't always know when someone is lying to us, especially when they are close to us. I have trusted and been hurt many times.

I'm Movin On by Rascal Flats. I have gone through a lot of changes in my life over the last ten years. I can leave behind those things that were not good for me and look forward to my life. I live in a town where I never imagined myself. I was sad about wasting time, but now I know that I can live each day and have joy and peace.

I will be making Pizza from scratch. First I make the dough from unbleached flour and salt and virgin olive oil. I love how the dough feels in my hands, so warm, so gentle so full of love. Then I get the toppings ready, fresh cut onions, mushrooms sauteed in butter and finished in white wine, sliced jalapenos, diced green peppers, Hungarian salami and a mixture of stretch mozzarella, provolone and Parmesan. Also homemade tomato sauce with basil. Then dress bake and savour. Perfection.

My favourite meal of the day is dinner. I usually start with a salad of romaine with cucumbers and tomatoes and homemade oil and vinegar dressing. Then an entree of chicken and some rice and a vegetable. Yummy!

I drove to Florida for the first time many years ago. I left Toronto in a very bad snow storm and arrived in Cocoa Beach in the evening two days later. We were hungry, we dipped our toes in the ocean, changed into summer clothes and found a wonderful restaurant. I had lamb chops and vegetables and fresh herbs and flowers that were grown in their garden. What an oasis, the food superb and the hospitality gracious. Thanks, this was a buried memory until now.

I live on the shores of Lake Huron. We have the most gorgeous sand beaches. The water is turquoise and deep blue and you can see to the bottom. You can see minnows and tadpoles at the beginning of the spring. It makes me feel free and at peace to swim in the lake, watch the fish and walk along the shore. I have swam in the lake since I was a baby. It is my place, I am alive and renewed every year.

I would love to write a book on how to live life to the fullest and how to get past the little stuff when you think it is the big stuff. I would like to dedicate it to my grandmother, my mother and my daughter. I would like every woman to know that life is short and every moment counts.

I have a very large collection of stuff from hotels I have 'borrowed' over the years.
This is anything like room keys, towels, hairdryers, soap, shampoo, showercaps, tv guides, cards, mints, pens, a few hats, aprons, badges etc. generous employees have donated...basically anything with the hotel logo on it.
I'm surprised I haven't gotten in trouble for this strange habit actually.

Talk to your husband, but do not leave your home, your city, or your daughter behind. Keep writing and listen to your heart. Don't let anyone make you do things you do not want to do.
Seek medical advise and don't stop until you get the right answer. You will know the right
anwer when you hear it. Trust your intuition.

My dream home would have to be close to water. I currently live on the shores of Lake Huron. It is the only place to be in the summer. My home would have a workable kitchen because I love to cook and bake. It would have a sewing room for me, and a space to refinish furniture. The bedroom has to be big enough for a four poster bed and armoire. A fireplace in the livingroom is a must. I would have a nice deck and fish pond along with a comfortable place to sit under the trees.
