To be honest: I think the reasons behind this post aren't so much everyone is talking about how the Olympics aren't fun; I think it's just that two prominent voices that I enjoy are sort of bashing the whole institution, and that irked me.

Thanks for the comment. My point was this: if the NHL is going to choose an old-time baseball stadium to host the event (either Yankee Stadium or Wrigley) it would make more sense to throw it at Yankee Stadium, seeing as this is it's last year.

Wrigley will be there next year. Unless it falls apart sometime in the near future. Which is entirely possible.
