I hope you get some rest 'cause I think that's what you need most right now. Baking? Well, I'll bring a bottle of Lysol or Oust to spray as I walk, pick up a muffin, hand you some juice as I hug, wipe, tuck in and dress a couple of kids, mop, sweep and throw a load of laundry in on the way out the door. :)

Re: Real Life

Awww... I hope that I'm not currently speeding toward the wrong goal. It feels right and I think my hesitation and procrastination are fear of success along with terror of lack of time to complete everything.

Re: Veteran's Day Military Family Style

Happy Veteran's Day! I have been running and ripping for a week. I just got home for lunch (about noon) after volunteering at my middle daughter's school. I have to run and pick up my son early then go back to my daughter's school for a meeting. Last night was Tae Kwon Do, which is an entirely new story. I sat and ate my lunch and flipped through a magazine. It took all of my energy not to sit and eat in front of the computer then I sat quietly for a few minutes after my last bite. I felt like it was wasting time, but it was a much needed pause.

I am so jealous that you're getting your Christmas shopping done! :) That's great.

You're still not feeling well? Exhausted? Did you make your appointment? I hope you did that first. Nope, not fussing at you, just strongly encouraging you to do it now if you haven't already! SMOOCHES.

Aunt Flow is just a pest. She has me wishing for menopause.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Re: Do you know what happens when you go to sleep at 9pm?

Okay, I'm not going to make any pregnant jokes.:)

Yes, it could be thyroid or low iron. Last time that happened to me it was low iron... on top of lack of a decent night's sleep. I can't remember the last time I went to bed that early. Did you sleep all night?

Re: Matern-Eternity

Each time I gave away maternity clothes and baby clothes I ended up being pregnant. I stopped that cycle by getting my tubes tied. Well, that was good anyway since we are finalizing the divorce. I think I have enough kids and two dads are enough. ... Okay, where di that come from? Geez!

Congrats on cleaning up... sorry about the allergies... and I know exactly what you mean about the baby memories. I have a little memory box for the kids so that the most special and memorable are held onto. Some stuff is given to Goodwill and others are given to people who I know can really use them.

Re: The Aftermath of Fort Hood

I can only imagine how you feel. I've never experienced anything to that degree, but I was in the Air Force during Desert Storm. War stress alone is bad enough without having to worry about what's going to happen on the base by your own. Very sad situation. I was thinking about doing Tackle It Tuesday so maybe I can combine the two. Hmmm? Yea, I've been working on getting the sweets outta the house... bad case of PMS! I guess eating them wasn't the smartest way! I also need to get that yoga in that I've been trying to do for more than a week. Ten minutes here and there isn't enough. I'd like to do a little strength training with hand weights too. Good luck with your list! On my list is making/developing a gift closet or spot and put my list somewhere that I'll remember it. Already lost a portion of my list somewhere on my desk. :)

Re: Keeping a gift closet

Oh, did I say that I've lost my list too! My house is pretty small so I'm going to have to get a little creative. Maybe a solid container to put on the top shelf in my closet. Hmmm...?

Re: What are you reading on Mondays

Oh geez, I am so behind on reading too. I am reading like 1,000 books (okay, two or three at once). The Happiness Plan and Finding Purpose Beyond Our Pain. One's good and one isn't!

Why do I keep requesting review copies? I am about 14 books behind; not counting the ones in my own pile that I want to read. Plus the magazines. Plus the blogs I like to visit. What if we take two weeks off just to read?

Re: Road Trips and Shopping and Clearance, Oh My!

Let's see... I need to start mine. I'm hesitant this year 'cause I normally forget what I do with it. LOL... I was "forced" to clean out my closet yesterday when I saw a moth fly out of it. So out everything came, piles made for Goodwill, giving away and consignment. Then I had to clean out the kids' closet today when I realized there was no way I was getting all of the clothes in there, which is why there were so many clothes in the laundry room that needed to be put away. So, I have most of the summer clothes stashed away and fall/winter stuff ready to go. Happy Christmas shopping and organizing. Wish me luck. :)

Re: Adventures in Flying (By the Seat of Ones Pants)

LOL...
