I just don't see anything innovative in Twitter.
Twitter is something anybody could have made and there was tons of websites same as OR as similar as Twitter even before Twitter became famous.

There's tons of other websites and applications that are more interesting than Twitter, and yet they are not as closely as popular as Twitter. I guess it's all about PR campaign. If you are featured by Reuters, Associated Press, or poplar Tech magazines - sure, anybody can succeed even with the stupidest ideas.

I was disgusted to learn that Clinton's made 109 million over the last seven years.
Even more disgusting was the fact that Bill Clinton received loads of money from charitable groups.
According to the Suze Orman Show, 51% of Americans earn less than $18,000 a year, and yet, some find a way to earn 100s of millions of dollars for doing literary - nothing. Horrible.

I would have to agree with Bill Fitzpatrick,. I've seen people putting all eggs into one basket and losing significant amounts of money, just beacuse they had NO knowledge about their investment in the first place. Just take a look at recent commercial paper 'scandal' in Canada. Ops!

Hi Zachari. I pulled out from the market in August 2007.
I would say that no matter what media does, investors cannot accept reality - our economy has entered the recession months ago. Now, I don't see market losing significant amount of value (see Dow Jones, see TSX Composite). I was expecting to see 15-20% drop this year, but if investors continue with its refusal to accept reality, then we might even postpone recession and make things worse.

In the last 5 years, market has done exceptionally well. But market cannot go "UP" all the time. It's only natural for market to go "DOWN" once in a while, or every 3-4 years or so. I am expecting market to drop significantly before I inject my money to buy cheaper stocks/units.
