In the story (Genesis chapters 7 and 8), it rains forty days and forty nights, flooding the entire planet and covering all land. One verse says, possibly contradictorily, "The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days." Then the waters slowly recede over the course of several weeks.

Agreed. I'm surprised more people don't try programmable buttons. I'd feel like a little kid without my Logitech G700, with 8 programmable buttons outside the normal left-right and bidirectional scroll wheel. And I still want more! They're incredibly useful for simple internet browsing and window management.
