Dave, I would recommend looking into the Nokia E-71. It is a highly underrated, highly capable device.

Thanks for your comment. There are absolutely cardiovascular benefits to snorkeling. They aren't that great, but it sure beats the gym and ESPECIALLY beats the couch!

I sincerely appreciate your comment and I apologize for my naive perspective. As a patient, it is very refreshing to get both sides of the story and it's also very encouraging to know that Mr. Kennedy did not receive preferential treatment.

And your point about White Coat Rants is correct: The comparison of Cape Cod Hospital to MGH is an embarassment. Not to say Cape Cod Hosptial isn't a fine institution; it's just his lack of knowledge on MGH was troubling.

At any rate, I have had a very difficult time with things and I have done a lot of homework on a lot of hospitals and I am keenly aware that MGH is one of the finest in the world. As I am sure you understand, it's easy as a patient to become bitter and make excuses when you are notting getting an answer to your "why" questions.

Thank you for the advice on calling the clinic. I will do that today. The person discharging me didn't make a mistake unless they also made a mistake in my discharge notes where the instructions were the same.

Again, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and voice your opinion - It is much appreciated.

All I'm saying is that Twitter has specifically benefited from the early adoption by big names and power users. They're the ones that editorialize about, use it, and ultimately give it traction.

I don't disagree with you that it's outgrown that phase.... At any rate, it has a long, long, long way to go before it can say it's an essential/important service for people. Anecdotally, take a look at this:

I wasn't even alive during the oil crisis of the early eighties, but I'm assuming it had similar effects at the time on the American psyche? And you're right, that didn't stop us all from soon forgetting how precarious the energy situation is by producing Hummers and Ford F-450's etc.

What boggles my mind is that Volkswagen was making a Jetta that got better than 50 MPG in 1988!!! And here we are TWENTY years later and no one has improved upon that? It's amazing to me that with all of the car manufacturers out there that one didn't have the foresight to really push for mass production of 100 MPG + vehicles. The technology is there, it's just the resource/manufacturing pipeline is way behind where it needs to be.

I share the same fear as you but I think this time there will AT LEAST be more economical cars AVAILABLE for the savvy consumers among us.
