Oh, dang. That's all I can say... Noel I miss you so much, I had no idea you were so ill. Please watcmh ove r all of us as we ocontinuse to follow in your footsteps to do the media's job for them. I am so sorry that I didn't stay in touch with you these last couple of years, as so much was going on in my life, but unfortunately for me, I missed out on being able to talk to you more toward the time you went to go blog for Heaven. I miss you, my brother... I will always love you, too. Rest now, my friend... rest well. I enjoyed working with you gathering video for you whenever you needed it for a post. I truly enjoyed our friendship.

I am absolutely devastated! I, too, was close to Noel as we often worked together, and he would often ask me if I had this or that video clip, and I tried to get him everything he needed. He was a true class act, and never ever ran a video of mine WITHOUT giving me a hat tip. Noel was one of a kind, ,and I had no idea he was this ill. What a loving, gracious man he was, and I'll be talking to him more often now that he'll be watching over all of us as we continue in his footsteps.

God bless you, Noel, and please rest now... you deserve it.

Probably so, but I distinctly remember them disappearing after Newtown. Just glad, like you, that whatever the reason, I'm just glad it's back - I'm watching the first episode from tonight. Yeee-haw! #RedJacket

I also remember several times in TV Guide seeing an upcoming episoe, and it always had the description of "Will and so-and-so head to Jordan on business." But then I'd turn to the channel, and it would be that Gold Rush crap again.

Brian, this show was "must-see TV" for me, and I taped it every week. I distinctly remember it all of a sudden disappearing after Newtown. I watched it till the last episode played, and I really thinkk Discovery took it off (and put on that gold rush crap) just to appease the gun control crowd.

I just went and saw it this afternoon (only b/c it was sold out on Saturday), and it was a packed theater. The whole auditorium watched with rapt attention, and I heard more than a few people crying or trying to hold back tears. There was a standing ovation at the end, which was well deserved.

Bravo, Marcus... and bravo Axe, Dietz and Murphy.
