Sending you a heap of virtual sugar from Geologic HQ! Also, what a great blog and why didn't I know about you before? Thanks for keeping it real in the Lehigh Valley. People who don't get that have either just gotten their first modem or have trouble communicating in the literal world. It makes sense that they'd move just as clumsily through the virtual one. I'm so sorry you've experienced a critical mass of this kind of agita. I know it can be very disturbing.

I wish that the people who have given you reason to write this would understand where you're coming from. But it might not happen. Still—selfishly—it was beautiful to read what amounts to your love letter to the people you enjoy, cherish, and are jazzed by.

Lastly, you are VERY approachable. [also- rowrrr!] So why don't you just come on over here and cook some dinner for me already? We'll have a bottle of excellent sangiovese and laugh about these dweebs.

Love.

Re: Uptight

I feel like I'm fixin' for a fight! I know it sounds kooky, but it does work. And it's not just the caffeine, it's the camaraderie. Also, guitars. Afternoon cat naps are far better than "sleeping in." I think it's like the difference between driving stick and automatic. Just like driving the car versus the car driving you, you can enjoy the serenity of the morning, feel like you have a jump on the day, and then decide when you're going to take five. It's kind of like having it all!

Re: Why I’m Voting for Barack Obama

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Beautifully put. Thanks for this post.

Contrary to what the pundits would have us think, this isn't a my-team vs. your-team election. We are deciding the future of our country, our culture, and the global community. These are serious times. We need to rise up, reexamine, redefine, reinvent, and move forward. Tomorrow I'm voting for a serious leader- I'm voting for Obama, and by doing that, I'm voting for my country.

Searching indeed for light in the darkness of insanity.

Re: Alfa and Omega

How funny...I do love that little car, although I'm not sure I'd want to go cross country in it.
