I remember you talking about this a while ago when you first hosted the photo above. It is indeed shocking, and I cannot fathom the price hike either. It's crazy. Now, i guess you know what I'm now about to suggest James. You have a Proporta Mobile Device Charger, why not use the supplied accessories with that? Have you lost these too?

I know where your coming from regards the E71 keyboard. I trialled an E71 myself, and at first hated it, but after just one day with it, I fell in love, so much so, i wrote my entire E71 Review on the device itself.!

Agreed, I'm sure the experience will improve with firmware updates, and it's already pretty good. As for the keyboard, I'm sure lots of people will be fine with it but it's not E71 standards. I'm frickin' fast on that thing and was from Day One.

Great review Steve.

Im sure several of the aforementioned cravats can be sorted out in future firmware updates, afterall, we are talking V10 here, and who cannot forget what an N95 was like on V10?

As to the keyboard, Im sure its something many will be able to get used to in time.

Looks like IE8 (really, you choose to use IE? ;-) ) is breaking AudioBoo's player. If the link to the main AudioBoo site doesn't work I've added a direct link to the MP3 into the post too.

Edit, cannot see where to listen to the audioboo on there either. Im using Firefox, and Vista. Not sure what the problem is. I will try viewing in IE8

Sorry you're having problems - it's working fine for me on all the platforms I've tested it on.

If you follow the text link underneath the player that says "Listen: “Announcing: The Really Mobile Project ‘Week Of Win’“" you'll be taken to the AudioBoo site which is also mobile-friendly where you can also listen to it.... All the key rules and info are in the text tho'.

If you're getting double posts make sure that you haven't setup multiple service that post to the same place. The most common is to send to multiple sites that all post the result to Twitter, sending to Twitter from Pixelpipe and Twitpic will result in the same post twice. You can also add the same service multiple times, this is useful if you want to post to multiple accounts on for example Flickr however will result in a double post if their both configured to the same account. You can verify this setting under My Pipes.

Tip: You can override your default destinations at the time of upload by use of Routing Tags, simply include the service name and we'll send just to those destination @twitter, @facebook. You can customize the names and even setup groups by using the same name with multiple services eg. @family

At the end of the Day, Dan has pretty much nailed it. ShoZu is not just an application, but a service, and one, I personally have been very happy with, being able to upload photos to several of my online services, at just one initial cost saves you money. Its worth purchasing if you upload photos frequently.

I have tried Pixelpipe too, and again, another great service, although, i really need to sort out my services tied with this, as it appears to duplicate my images.

Another option I use, is Mobypicture, having set this in my Share Online setup, I can easily upload to Mobypicture, and ping automatically to twitter in doing so.

It was choppy for me too, but I think its my wifi connection.

Great hands on Steve, really looking forward to getting my N97, which is pre.orderd. Glad to hear the device is actually smaller than many of the images of it on the web show it to be.

Apple App Store = 1 Phone 1 OS
Nokia Ovi Store 70 Phones, multiple OS, many billing methods, the list of differences are huge.!

I will wait a few weeks before I comment any further, as its still ongoing rollout to other countries, Finland included. I have however managed to get the client on one of my devices by way of a UK sim, and thus far, experiences are positive, having purchased two applications, downloaded, and installed smoothly.

Yes, there is bound to be teething problems with a project as Global as this, and yes, things do get overlooked. Checkout the recent Nokia Conversations post from James, he pretty much puts the whole thing into perspective.

Another thing I have noticed, mainly on Twitter, and some sites reporting Nokias Ovi Store fail, are all coming from the direct competition, Apple fans. You quite simply, as said, cannot compare the two, simple, totally different.
