Benito, the article that you wrote for NMI a year ago (http://newmexicoindependent.com/529/a-polling-d...) is still pretty much true... While some pollsters include cell phone-only households, others do not and instead attempt to weight the other demographics to match cell phone only households.

I wrote a month ago about how the editor and founder of SurveyUSA said of phone polling, "“it’s over… this is the end." And no one has a solution quite yet.

Actually, Thomas, there were three profanity-laced comments (one of which that was aimed at you) that we had to delete. Then the user stepped up his efforts so we had to ban him.

Michael, those links you provided from Snopes don't back up what you said.

The first one, about Liz Clairborne, says that Spike Lee told Esquire that he thought Clairborne said her inflammatory remarks on Oprah. Snopes said he was hoodwinked (my word, not theirs). That should have been caught by Esquire's fact checkers, but is not the same situation as you described.

Hilfiger's Snopes entry didn't even mention Esquire.

And the Groucho Marks one mentioned that Marks actually DENIED ever saying the infamous joke in an Esquire interview with Roger Ebert. I'm not sure what Esquire would have to gain by lying about this instance. The editor-in-chief says he has an audio recording of the event -- this hadn't been a controversy until I posted this blog post, so there was no need to produce the audio until now.

Maybe they will in the future.

Though I really dislike the way that Rick Reilly writes and think he is one of the most overrated sportswriters in America, this was a pretty cool article.

And good thing that they went with Brees instead of Palmer -- since Palmer has been horrible this season when he's even on the field.

In that case, it would still be voter registration fraud. We have not seen any real reported cases of actual voter fraud in New Mexico, only voter registration fraud.
