I was going to write a post saying pretty much the same
thing but you've summed it up perfectly here. Europe is not Nokia. Also, Scoble seems to switch between talking about Europe's mobile industry and Europe's
mobile users throughout his post. It came across as quite a confused post to me...

Re: Confessions of a Futuresonic Liveblogger

I wish! I'm tempted to try out one of the FriendFeed client iPhone apps though as the iPhone web interface is not quite perfect yet. Since the redeisgn you can't view a list of conversations you're involved in, for example. You can use the realtime full web interface but it runs down the battery too quickly.

Re: Put that £12,000 away - The Really Mobile Project launches

Sorry Vikki! It would be a cheeky way of engineering hype without actually lying. After all you don't have to be a Vodafone customer to use it. Then when it goes live officially they could remove the iPhone-specific mentions and make it work with everything.

I'm keeping an open mind but it just seems odd that this would go live before any official announcement of Vodafone carrying the iPhone, and any such announcement isn't likely until WWDC in June.

Re: Don’t Tell The Bride we ruined her wedding on purpose

Touche!
