You should've added Josh McRoberts (Duke), Rodney Carney(Memphis) and, Justin Cage ( Western KY) instead.

Re: The Santa story in pictures and words

If this is big news for IU basketball, then it shows how far we have dropped from national prominence. He has no basketball instints, turnover prone and he is a terrible shooter, and top of that he doesn't use his 6'4 height to his advantage.

Re: Good, Bad and Ugly: Northwestern

It cannot get any worse than this! How painful to watch. I am just so disgusted in how bad our players are and how IU's program had reached the lowest of lows. I don't even think Purdue and UK fans are so happy. It comes to a point when you want your rivals to be at least a basketball team.

I hope all the players and Tom Crean will never forget how embarassing and painful this season was. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone.

Re: The Morning After: Michigan, or clapping alone

Hit freakin' free throws! Jones just doesn't have a point guard savy and toughness. He needs to improve during the course of this season and the rest of the off season, if he wants to play. I don't see him playing next year. It's been common practice for coaches to offer an extra scholarship or go over one in which they don't have. That's when the coaches are betting someone already on the team will transfer next season. Most likely players will transfer after a coaches first year. If no one transfers, that's when the coach will ask an incoming player or a returning player that it's better for them to transfer. That's a gamble coaches make.

Re: http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/09/27/hoosiers-looking-forward-to-hysteria-on-october-17/

I admire your passion for women's volleyball, but come on this is Hoosier country.

Re: http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/09/27/hoosiers-looking-forward-to-hysteria-on-october-17/

I forgot to count my wife,so that makes it 24 cans. I'm not really upset about the increase because I will be able to provide. It's just the fact that I have to start thinking about how the economy is effecting everyone, and this is possibly the only chance for families to see the Hoosiers this year in person due to not having money. You can still be a diehart fan and not have any money. Even people in need would like to have the opportunity too.

Re: http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/09/27/hoosiers-looking-forward-to-hysteria-on-october-17/

Not really. I just made the comment that now I have to bring not just three canned goods but a total of 24 cans, which makes it kind of difficult for a large family to watch the Hoosiers when they're on a really tight budget that's not counting gas prices.

I can understand about the early start time though.

Re: http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/09/27/hoosiers-looking-forward-to-hysteria-on-october-17/

Did you have to put your club down before typing that comment or did you just use the search and peck method? Are you really complaining that you have to donate three canned goods to a charity that could benefit your situation. Personally, I like that it starts earlier because it can draw more of a crowd than just drunk wild college students.

Re: http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/09/27/hoosiers-looking-forward-to-hysteria-on-october-17/

I agree with Alex about having to watch volleyball before seeing the Men's and women's team hit the floor and I like volleyball. It's call Hoosier Hysteria- the last time I check that the State of Indiana is known for basketball from high school to the pro game. The history of Indiana University and Indiana sports is all about basketball.

We now have to give away three cans- it used to be two. The cost of inflation. That's alot of cans for an entire family of seven who wants to attend the event.

Finally, Midnight Madness is no longer the same since the teams finished way before Midnight last year. I liked it when it was the old Midnight Madness in which you waited until 12am to watch the teams.

Re: Tom Crean speaks at Lucas Oil Stadium

Full disclosure, I only watched the first half.

Although giving up 29 points to the Bears is bad, at least in the first half it looked like a normal Peyton Manning would have made a huge difference in the game.

He missed a few receivers, including Wayne for a first half touchdown, by inches. Peyton in a week or two will be precise again. Scoring 7 on those possessions would have made this an entirely different game.

Re: Tom Crean speaks at Lucas Oil Stadium

The Colts look like they were still playing in the pre-season.
