Of course, given the fact that Rubio is supported by Karl Rove and Jeb Bush is "neutral", and given the fact that Rubio's immigration position is probably quite GWB-like, the idea that he isn't establishment is pretty absurd. (Note also that this is probably yet another example of the TeaParty tools supporting someone whose policies would raise their taxes and reduce their power).

Maybe he voted against it because the Dems blocked provisions that try to reduce illegal immigration.

I found out about those provisions from this site, but the SorosChip in the brains of TWI staffers prevents them from tying one to the other.

Hoffman HQ has reiterated their urgent plea from last night. According to new Hoffman spokeswoman Ayn Paul, "Do not activate Plan Comet. Our chariot is not yet here. Repeat: do not activate Plan Comet. If you know of any teams that are planning self-GrandStand, contact HQ immediately. Repeat: do not activate Plan Comet."

I'm not entirely clear on what that means.

However, it bears repeating that one of the ways Hoffman went wrong was ignoring the fact that MassiveImmigration is one of the most vulnerable issues that Beltway hacks - Dem or GOP - have. He was on the wrong side.

If he had taken on the Beltway over that issue, he probably wouldn't have gotten a dime from the ClubForGrowthAtAnyCost, but he would have gotten a lot of grassroots support and much more crossover voting.

If he had loudly repeated this shocking statistic over and over, he could have become very popular. As it is now, he's just a footnote in Randroid history.

I don't fully understand what they mean by that, but it is pretty sweet. And to think, if Hoffman's supporters had forced him into opposing massive immigration he might have picked up enough votes to win.

Yesterday, I posted in comments on a couple of Weigel's links to my Hoffman coverage, including questions for him. Since my questions could have revealed Hoffman to be somewhat of a fake - someone whose policies would raise the taxes on his followers - It's incredibly odd that Weigel wasn't able to ask any of them.

Was there a rift in the space-time continuum involving time zones, 'Dack vorteces, UFOs, or The Hat Man? Or, is Weigel just a hack writing for a Soros-funded pseudo-paper? I suspect the latter.

I had the opposite reaction. My feeling is that she's sacrificing herself to let the Conservative party guy win.

I see what people are saying when they say it could work out in Owens' favor. Maybe most of Scozzafava's supporters will stay home and the rest would rather have a moderate Dem than a far right conservative.

However, my gut says that if this district hasn't gone Democrat in 150 years, then the only chance of it doing so was a split ticket. Now that the ticket isn't split, I'd bet on the Dem losing.

Also, what's funny about this is that Hoffman appears to support policies that would increase spending and raise taxes on his tea party supporters. Maybe someone who's familiar with that issue should ask him about that at one of his appearances.

I'm a fan of the Constitution. If you want to remove a sitting President from office, there is only one legal way to do it: impeachment in the House of Representatives, followed by trial and conviction in the Senate.

I don't know where all these people are coming from, but the goal of the great majority of the comments from BHO fans is to simply create noise.
