Whatever it's called, Trump's original vision - when viewed from a high altitude and not as implemented - are where most Americans are. He's theoretically against SJWs & NeoLiberals, the Dem party wallows in both. He'd theoretically raise wages.

The implementation and he & his fans need some work. Way back in Aug 2015 I accurately described at my site, in tweets, and in comments exactly how his "wall" would fail, right down to his successor neglecting/demolishing it. Instead of helping Trump come up with better plans, his fan club vilely smeared me. They rejected all criticism, even that that would help their idol. They're part of the reason why he (at least so far) lost.

Despite opposing him, I voted for him this time because the Dems mean SJWs will have even more power and we'll have even more censorship.

Put yourself in the place of a Democrat reading that. Are they going to be more or less likely to oppose Obama's actions? Not that a random comment is going to change them from one side to the other, but comments like yours repeated often enough tend to drive the Dem base away from opposing Obama's actions.

Since the GOP base is largely opposed to Obama's actions, the audience that we need to reach are the Dem base. We need to turn some segment of them against Obama's actions. Doing that will go a long way towards blocking Obama's amnesty.

In this case, let's say 30,000 kids are going to try to come here. How many of them will die trying? Would the number who died trying be reduced if forces inside the U.S. - Obama but also religious groups and so on - were less welcoming? Now, you point that out to the Dem base: point out that those like Obama but also other politicians are in effect encouraging kids to cross the border and some won't make it. You can do that on Twitter, on Facebook, and in comments. If enough people did that we could have very good impact on this issue.

I've opened a conversation thread here. I've invited him to respond, and Twitter replies from McBennett will be collected on that page. So far, the tweet from McBennett outlining why he wants to move to the U.S. bears out my *opinion* of him based on the interview. I didn't misquote him (although I did misspell his name based on the transcript), I just offered my *opinion* based on the segment. Even if he says something contrary to my *opinion* of him, I'm still free to note that my *opinion* my be different.

Also, McBennett is - frankly - a nobody. The target of this post is PBS, with the goal of encouraging fewer propaganda segments from them. I'd prefer to keep it that way.

I'll look into your points, but I want to make it clear that NumbersUSA and I are on the same basic side. I'm stronger against legalization than they are, but at least we both want to stop a mass amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

On *immig.*, no matter how weak you think GOP leaders are, they're weaker. There are very few Tancredos around. What's needed isn't your "next revolutionary war", but for the base to help me discredit those GOP leaders over amnesty.

Which brings me to this post. It's just a fantastical wish list, it's not a plan. An actual plan would consist of *how* you intend to achieve goals, not just leave that up in the air.

Regarding the idea of amnesty not going away, it won't as long as its loudest opponents continue to do things ineffectively. I continue to push plans that would have a devastating effect on amnesty, but I have trouble getting enough people to help out.

It looks like politically-motivated gang (or sockpuppet) harassment paid off. I've posted thousands of comments around the web for over a decade, and many are met with anonymous smearers like yourself. They have no valid argument against anything I've ever written: their goal is simply to silence me. Hey, it worked in this case.

My interest is not in revealing your private information, drama queen. However, sometimes I'm able to determine through perfectly legal means the names of those who stalk, harass, or otherwise try to silence me simply because they disagree. I don't mind disagreement, it's just those who stalk, harass, or otherwise try to silence me.

While I wasn't threatening to reveal your personal information, your #3 is definitely a threat against me. You seem to be threatening to expose the sites I visit and my financial information. I definitely consider those to be threats to reveal actual private information.

Regarding my screen name, I use a trademark and a permanent identifier with my comments. People like you ("Just Another Blowhard") have to hide behind fake names for some reason or another. Disqus makes it easy to use sockpuppets, and who knows if you use other names. You might even have used other names on this thread.

You could be anyone, such as a public official or company owner who wants to profit from illegal immigration. Who knows if you have a financial stake in illegal immigration?

Well, that's what stupid people do. The union thug greatly disagreed with Crowder, but wasn't capable of taking the easy step of trying to show him wrong. So, he struck out. (Allegedly!)

For instance, many years ago, I was shocked to see a "liberal" *kid* jumping for joy at an assassination attempt against someone who disagreed with him. It's not just "liberals" either: plenty of cons would be more than happy to see their opponents put into camps or worse.

The solution - the best for both for the U.S. and the Dems - is to encourage debate. The libertarian ideas that the GOP is currently soaking in are incredibly flawed, yet "liberal" leaders like Maddow lack the ability to take the easy step of showing them wrong.

What you write doesn't matter: TPers present themselves as the Only True Conservatives and Only True Patriots, actively trying to shut out and silence anyone who disagrees (such as DLoesch saying that anyone who opposes TP goals is a socialist).

If TPers just pushed their agenda(s), that'd be one thing. But, they're actively smearing others as something less than patriots, while mostly ignoring policies patriotic Americans need to be concerned about (immigration) and while promoting policies that aren't that patriotic (see the Saverin post for an example).

The current GOP stands only for one thing: helping their benefactors make more money. Everything else is just a trapping dedicated to that goal or a vestigal organ from a time when the GOP had some ideas.

As for SE Cupp, she's just a slimmer Meghan McCain with glasses: a complete lightweight.

The two greatest problems the GOP has are:
1. Even some TPers can probably see through the fact that the GOP is just an MLM scheme for multimillionaires and billionaires.
2. Debate (and thinking in general) aren't welcome in today's GOP (and conservatism in general).

In case anyone disagrees with the second, go engage Teaparty in some constructive criticism. Report back with all the names they call you.

Americans whose children become criminals are still Americans: we can't legally and morally deprive them of their citizenship because of that. We have no such obligation to foreign citizens: we have a legal and moral duty not to abuse them, but we have no duty to allow them to just come here at will, whether they'll have a good or bad impact.

If you have a legal argument from a scholar backing up your claim, then post it. If a scholar claims that the Constitution forbids the use of the concept of illegal aliens -
foreign citizens who are here against our laws - then that indicates a

Three likely reasons:
1. He's bought into the line about the Hispanic vote and he can't think of an alternative (such as outreaching to Hispanics who support our laws, realizing Hispanics aren't monolithic, etc.)
2. His backers want to profit from massive or illegal immigration, and Mitt's just doing what they want.
3. He's too weak in various ways to take on the establishment but instead is just giving in in the misbegotten hope that they'll get off his back about the issue.

I'd like to know who told you that, because they lied to you. All of the various DREAM Acts (federal or state versions) deal with illegal aliens. They give work permits or other legal documents to those who are here illegally. Of course, after getting those documents they'll be here legally, but in order to get into the programs they have to be illegal aliens.

Thank you for being a high-minded world traveler. However, there are two separate issues:

1. Using Spanish when dealing in business with people in Spanish-speaking countries.

2. Using Spanish as a 2nd language in the public sphere inside the U.S.

Those are two separate issues, but you're confusing them.

The first is good for those who have to do it, the second is bad for the U.S. in that it leads to, for instance, candidates speaking out of both sides of their mouths, social tension, demagogues (e.g., Jorge Ramos), etc. etc.

What you're disregarding is that Stein's economic proposal - which I admit I didn't read - will never be enacted.

Libertarians do this too: they promote open borders and ending the welfare state, but they don't make ending the welfare state a precondition to open borders. I didn't check, but I think there's a 100% chance Stein did the same.

For both Stein and libertarians, their economic ideas will never be accepted, but their support for loose/open borders will.

Thus, it's still not clear whether Stein is corrupt or just dumb.
