They let people who ask for features know whether or not that feature is in development. And if there is an actual bug reported by a user they are quite fast at fixing it. http://friendfeed.com/search?q=comment%3Aana%2C...

Re: fixing #followfriday.

Wait, Friendfeed is developer-centric? Kinda ... but not really. They listen to their users.

Re: Are you using Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter differently?

I will just echo what AlliFlowers said. The only reason I even have a Facebook account is that I am curious about all forms of social media. As it turns out, I have connected with old friends and distant relatives on there. Twitter is a fabulous listening tool for me, and once I build my network a bit larger, I know I will be able to "crowdsource" answers to interesting questions as well. LinkedIn is kind of an obligatory thing in case anyone needs to look me up or if I ever end up job hunting again.

Re: Twitter Shenanigans

It sucks that people do this but it doesn't bother me because 1) I would never follow someone based solely on their number of followers and 2) I would never turn on autofollow. I don't understand why people do that. I don't feel any obligation to follow people who follow me. I follow people who are interesting. Is there really something to be gained by having lots of followers? Is there money in this game yet?

Re: louisgray.com: Scoble Starts His FriendFeed/Twitter Monetization Strategy

Personally, I think this is a non-issue, but I am curious as to one thing. Scoble is suggesting people order it so they can be the first to get a v2., and if they don't get a 2 just return it. So if a sale is made, does he get his affiliate cut even if the person returns it? If so, then this is a scam that could be milked ad infinitum. But it can't be that way - I think I just answered my own question.

Re: Overnight success takes a long time

Yeah, Paul, tell George about your home based business!

Re: Is This Stupid?: You Heard It Hear First: Bacon Can Be Part of a Healthy Diet

Amen, Sister! Nice post as always. Here's how the increase looks from a lowly plebe's perspective: Average followers per day since August = 1. Average followers per day this week = 5.

Re: My FriendFeed presentation from MIT/Stanford Venture Lab - Bret Taylor's blog

If you think that launching Rooms was part of what contributed to your growth, please, please, please make the rooms easier to discover and promote them more. You could have a page featuring the most active rooms, the biggest rooms, etc.

I love FriendFeed and to the sourpuss who said "you can see what boring people share", I have to respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree. FriendFeed is an important professional development tool for me, and it does it quicker than any other method I can think of. I look forward to its continuing development.

Re: What does your digital fingerprint say about you? « My Thoughts On Social Media

You know what? Some of us (myself included) didn't bother to select the "reply via twitter" option, methinks. Those of us with older tires need to check tire pressure way more frequently than 3000 miles (for me, once a week).
