Hi!

Yep, High Street. But unfortunately, WPO blocked all views outside of the GVA. The only view not blocked is if you go far from the area or go around the boundary or "fences" they setup around - which is far as well.

Not to mention, the GVA itself is far from where the fireworks were setup. In front of the GVA is the VIP area which covers a very wide area as well.

I'm not sure yet, this is the first they're going to do it in-land and I can't imagine where they are going to place/position their fireworks and how much area they are going to reserve for their ticket-buyers.

However, I am not sure if they offer that service, I have not seen any MMOG publisher which offers username changing. ;)

Cultural thing.

Note to everyone: When you are going to visit some event hosted somewhere, do not bring your own "set of guidelines" of what is "good and evil". You are a "foreigner", in other words, you do not know that country's culture.

Especially when we're talking about the Western and Eastern worlds. We are totally different. The Western world have so many things that they get offended about which isn't offending at all to us. For example, that photo of a Chinese where (take note) "HIS FRIENDS" mimicked his eyes.

Many people (including Asians "born" in the West) were offended, but guess what? It is pretty normal here in the Eastern world.

If you don't want our "openness" and "non-offending" culture, don't do events in our part of the planet.

PS.
I am not defending Yahoo! Taiwan here and I am leaving many factors out (like the "corporate" factor; "religious/faith" factor; "women image" factor; etc.) There are many factors to be considered, if an NGO or company or event organizer still decided to go on with something that is offending to someone else, there's no other explanation but that - "cultural".

It may be weird, crazy, strange, silly to you and me, but to them it is not. So don't get me wrong, because if I we are going to consider those factors I mentioned, I wouldn't approve of lap dancing at all even if it is a cultural thing.

They won't. They just want to check for verification purposes. ^_^

And yep, go get the card while you have a valid NBI Clearance ;) Just bring extra cash for the card to be sure. There was a fee when I got mine, I'm not sure if it is still the same today.

Same. Yahoo should have at least provided an easy way of doing it like auto-zipping. But then, I guess that is why they're shutting down the service because they do not want to dedicate anymore manpower to it :p

Nothing really, as long as you "symlink" your WoW.

You right-click on your real WoW folder and choose "Make Link".
Then move that symlink-folder to your POL-WoW directory.
Rename as instructed :D

The symlink-folder will point directly to your actual WoW folder.
