That works equally well, I tried all sorts of combinations before settling on socat, none of my googling turned up that option though, most of them were about creating an SSH tunnel SOCKS proxy for web access.

Once I started looking for options to do netcat and things I think I focused on that path which meant I didn't find the -NL option. Annoying really as I've just realised thats how I used to connect to my Uni email when they turned off external access and our department had an SSH server we were allowed to use.

True, but I feel like distribution and market penetration wider, but I have no idea.

Also, my coworker was saying how CD sales would be a result of someone liking two songs, but having to buy the rest of the CD too, so its a guranteed ~15$. Now, you can buy individual tracks, so in that sense, they don't get the rest of the money they would've. makes sense

Yeah, I know, but I'm not sure if he was being snarky or sarcastic or whatever but the overall tone was like 'programming actually does suck'. #7 almost sounded like he didnt really beileve in it

It was quite funny, James had me looking at your site for a good few minutes to see if I could spot it and I couldn't. James attributed his noticing it to his current works requirement for attention to all details.

I think you're on the right track with that line of thought: Humans are social animals. Our well-being is linked with the well-being of others.

Actually, Martin Seligman (one of the founders of Positive Psychology) has said that we also need a "Positive Social Science", meaning we need positive economics, positive sociology, positive political science, etc.

It all sounds pretty exciting to me, but unfortunately it's all in the early stages at the moment and I haven't yet seen a formal attempt of explaining just what "Positive Social Science" is and what it might actually do for us.
