I think this would be a very fun weekly (or monthly) feature. It might be fun if you had it as a Mr. Linky type of thing - I'm sure that there are several of us that would join in! I know I would enjoy being a part of something like this.

I really enjoyed this post of yours mostly because I love your comments so much on my blog - now I get a glimps as to what funny things you say on others!

San Francisco is such a lovely town. I haven't heard of the Palace of Fine Arts but it looks like a great place to go visit.

I wish a big wish for you - that you will be able to see forever with those big beautiful brown eyes. There is always hope. You look gorgeous in that bookbag :) You are so incredibly lucky that you knew that you could feel better by going to your husband & to have a husband that would wrap you up in his arms.

What a sweet message you received. I love blogging for just that reason...the messages that come from blogging friends have come to me at the best times :) and I'm sure you can agree.

Not remembering if you paid your CC bill is one thing that gets me and I failed a month or so ago and dang it, missed the payment. The CC company very nicely raised my interest rate to 29.99%. ahhhh So sometimes it's worth it to get up and take a look because I didn't.

I've been known to sign up twice to follow a blog and when I realize my mistake, months later, I unsub. I often wonder if they notice. lol

That's a great list as it's not universal to so many other cities. I think I was one of the few tourists who actually packed for chilly weather and got 80º weather the last time I visited. haha

The Halloween outfit is a hoot! The creativity in some peoples costumes is truly amazing. I don't do halloween just because I can't think of a darned thing to wear. I don't do horror either. I don't even see the point of it if you ask me.

I don't have children but after spending a month with my nieces I can see why a mandatory lunch and a few breaks would be nice :)

You live in San Fran? Cool! I may get a chance to meet you someday as my very best friend lives in Santa Cruz and I haven't been to see him in years. (He keeps coming to Florida so I haven't had to go too long between visits lol) We always go to SF when I'm in town. I hadn't been to the park before but it looks wonderful :)

Facebook has connected me with people that I thought were godlike when I was a kid (and I still had them up on that pedestal in my mind) so for me FB has also been a true reality check. They are not godlike, they are people and I can be equals with them :)

I adore your writings, I think you are hysterical and I can't wait until I get back to my normal life so I can get back to my usual blog reading.

I feel awkward with my family sometimes, too - you nailed it when you said outsider. Strange isn't it?!

You are brave (mugging) and I type Love instead of Live quite a bit myself :) Funny how love just finds its way into things. :)

I agree! I had one lady a while back who basically used my comment bored to get hits to her blog. I went to her blog and left a comment, and she came back here and left a long comment saying pretty much what you just quoted. Those kinds of bloggers seem to be interested more in numbers than anything else.

They really are big. The pictures don't due them justice. They are almost as big as my foot, easily. I wear a size 7 1/2 to and 8. They aren't as long, but only a few inches shy.

Patrick Swayze did seem like a very sweet man, from what I have heard and read. A lot of celebrities are from Houston, Texas. For people who are from Houston, it is very common to know someone or know someone who knows someone famous from Houston.

I get comments every so often where they say "Thanks for stopping by, make sure to follow me!" I don't think so. I'd prefer no comment than that.

I am still reeling over the giant slugs. ugh. Those are giant!

How cool that you know someone who dated P.S. :) Six degrees and all that!! He was a real neat guy (from what I've read) and he will be missed.

I can't write my story about September 11th because I end up sobbing so hard that I can't stop. I watched all of the news coverage on the day, a year later and at year five. I won't forget, I can't forget, but I try to spread the deep sorrow out a few years at a time. Thank you for your post. It's always so very interesting to see how others learned about the attacks and spent the day.

I cannot live without a dryer. I can't even imagine losing clothing at random times through the month because of a dryer.

I am so glad that I could help. I had no idea when I blogged about this show that so many would comment about it. I had never heard of it, and I watch a lot of TV. I assumed it wasn't popular. It's cool that so many people loved it.

As for the SyFy thing. I am not sure why SciFi changed their name. So annoying. LOL.

Thank You Thank You Thank You! I LOVED Dead Like Me. It's the only series that I've ever purchased on DVD and that was only because it was canceled. I've got the DVR set to record the SyFy channel. Thanks also for spelling SYFY because I went by it three times before I reread your post and realized I was looking for SciFi. TV is so difficult these days.

If I were to write a book it would be a motivational book. I love to inspire people and help them on their journey and I find that in helping others I help myself even more! My blog is usually fun, lighthearted reading, but every so often I like to write a little motivational piece.
