Test my networking skills. Land myself a job that requires passion. P.S. Danielle, I've obviously never heard you read poetry but you seem like you could definitely hold yourself on a stage. May I suggest you watch Saul Williams in SLAM this weekend for a little inspiration!?

Re: What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

My younger sister wrote a poem for me when I was going through a rough time in university. I wasn't able to see my own beauty and self-worth but her words rhythmically captured my all that I am. I cherish that piece.

Re: What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

Good for you! Got my eyebrows done this past week while I was in Ottawa. Went to a salon recommended by my friend and the girl took off just the perfect amount. I love my 'new' eyes! Thanks Carrie for the inspiration.

Re: What is your current, of-the-moment obsession?

The dietary cleanse I'm starting today; four weeks of brown rice, all the veggies I can eat and organic chicken and tofu. The first week is always trying but I should feel like I got a great oil change in four weeks.

Oh, and bird mobiles I've been creating for the new babies in my life thanks to Spool:
http://www.spoolsewing.com/blog/2008/05/16/bird...

Re: Pearl Matteson asks: What have you stopped being curious about? After graduating university with a degree in international development, I was all fired up about working effectively at the grassroots level in South Asia. People told me they could feel my passion. But that fire, and curiousity to seek knowledge about developing nations and communities fizzled after working in the field and in Ottawa. It's time to start reading and connecting again.

Re: Rest Easy: Pranayama and Asana for Successful Sleeping

Lindsey, thanks for this quick exercise. Pearl mentioned cleaning. I've been known to scrub tiles with a toothbrush when I'm really wired. So, if and when I get the hankering for TV, I go to the CTV website and stream Grey's Anatomy (although if Meredith keeps up her whining like she did during the season premiere, I'm done).

Oh, and we stream Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Re: What immediately comes to mind when you say the word, bliss?

Bliss is hot stone massage therapy.

Re: What’s your Business Intention? The camps provide kids who have life-threatening blood related disorders with an opportunity to experience the outdoors and make friendships outside of hospitals. That experience cemented Paul Newman as a truly inspirational human being for me, and changed my notion of the power of celebrity.

Re: What kind of award would you like to win?

An Ashoka Fellowship:
http://www.ashoka.org/fellows

Re: Patti Digh asks: What would you be doing today if you only had 37 days to live?

On day one, I would whisk my boyfriend to Slovenia. On day two, I would marry him in the courtyard of that 400-year old church on a hilltop along the Slovenian-Austrian border. On a recent visit to my home, my sister reflected she'd never quite seen so many soaps from different countries in one place. I appreciate pretty paper packaging but I don't do anything special to display them. Just dump them in a basket behind the toilet. But everytime I look at them, I remember different places I've been.

Re: What expert help or advice would you like?

I would really appreciate a career coach who would actually cheer me on in pursuit of a morally satisfying and financially rewarding job.
