Back when I first started considering a hand gun, I was being trained with a .45 ACP, which I felt was too hot for me. I eventually bought a Beretta 96FS in 40 S&W and have been shooting it for 20+ years. I'm use to it but I've never fired a 9mm, would expect it to be much more controllable. I plan on getting one at some point.

I fully expect Garcia to do better than he did in the special election, just a few months ago, so I have him as a winner here. I also monitor the local FB groups. The Smith fans are loud, but there are far more Garcia fans.

We should have all learned by now that the polls are worthless when it comes to Trump. Also, there is no cult of personality like hysteria with Trump, as there was for Obama. I was taken in by it myself and was proud that "racist" America had elected a black man as it's leader.

I agree that the Tea Party connection does not work at all. The singular Tea Party platform (I'm not a member) is limited government - and nothing else. Thats in start contrast to the politician worshiping citizens of Colombia. In fact it's far more common to see real world examples of people worshiping politicians or politics in general on the American left. Children taught to sing creepy indoctrination songs, people kneeling as Obama's motorcade drives by, mass-produced iconographic art pieces...
