Whether or not the matches are waterproof, put them in a plastic bag. Same for tissues and TP. In fact, save yourself some potential hassle by lining the whole inside of the pack with a plastic bag.
Add firestarter to your matches bag.
Duct tape.
Insect repellant, sunscreen, sunglasses.
Signal mirror.
Pack of wipes.
