From what I played yesterday on the Xbox One version, if it has 10x more animations, then it sure as heck doesn't show. It felt identical to the 360 version in terms of gameplay, too.

And RIP Joel Della-Savia. Always tormented me with late goals, no matter who I played as. My happiest moment in gaming is scoring a beautiful curling lob from the halfway line when playing as the USA in the original FIFA International Soccer. Bruce McMillan the scorer in the last few seconds, in order to cancel a goal out from the crafty Italian. I swear time slowed down as that ball came off his boot. Simply the best memory ever. The three friends that were there all remember it like it was yesterday, too.

That's the mark of a top-notch game.

Sorry - you've missed a trick, there. How much did their laptop cost? You can't quote the price of Kinect and the 360, and then claim that the other person is getting it for free because they're using a laptop, without disclosing the laptop price.

Without the Internet connection (as one rules out the other):-
Your cost: £129 + £199 + £40 (Gold) = £368
Their cost: £500 (average laptop price) = £500

Every game should be reviewed on its own merits and failings. I'm not buying Resident Evil 6 + all the previous titles + the movies when I go in and buy a copy of Resident Evil 6.

All a question of perspective. If I was a games developer with a hankering for getting as many games as I want (something that isn't made clear) listed on Greenlight for £63, I would find a way of making the money.

I'd head to eLance and do some freelance coding or design. I'd put old games I didn't want up on eBay. I'd get rid of the stacks of DVDs that will probably never be watched again. I do this for most things, rather than heading to the Bank of Mum and Dad.

If you're an entrepreneur, you make sacrifices. I'm currently working 16 hour days. 7.5 in a traditional office job, and the remainder so that I can build up enough clients and emergency money, so that I can leave that office job. I want to run my own business, and will. Sacrifice. I initially learnt web coding by selling my guitar 15 years ago and buying coding books with the proceeds. Sacrifice.

If you really needed the £63 to sign up, you'd find a way.

If you don't, then you really aren't qualified to be talking about what is and isn't value for money, here. No offence intended, just saying.

"FACEBOOK LETS YOU FILTER BY CITY!" - Again, I'll notice and use that when I come to filter through my friends list on Facebook. Hardly what you'd call "news."
