But hey, let's get an 11g XE out there first!

Re: Thanks for the Weblogic support Oracle!

Thanks for the pointer Justin. I did not see this from the Oracle forums page since not only was it at the bottom but you had to click on the Archived Forums link to see it. I'm glad that I was wrong and that Oracle did provide a read-only copy. What would have been ideal in my mind would have been to keep the URLs the same so that Google searches would work as they used to. At least the information is out there so I stand corrected. Thanks again for the pointer!

Re: Thanks for the Weblogic support Oracle!

Actually, you got your wish: they were moved to a read-only archive in September:

http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?c...

Cheers.

Re: Carl Backstrom, Oracle ACE

Much deserved; alas, too late.

FYI, his profile will not appear there - the directory contains non-employee ACEs only.

Re: The Oracle People iPhone App is Here

Yeah, please send me the link!

Re: Does the Oracle Technology Network encompass too many technologies?

The approach is actually horizontal, not vertical (based on roles). You could still use it for recording non-HD shows. Or crack it open and reformat the drive and use it as a computer.

DirecTV made you move? Didn't want to try the TiVo HD? Loved it but alas a move to DirecTV HD made a move to the DirecTV DVR necessary.

I'm not complaining too much though; it's not half bad (see similar example: Windows 95 vs Mac System 7).

Re: An Interesting Week Ahead

Paul and I were laughing about that. Sure.
