Funding may not be the problem. Getting all parties to agree on the terms will be the problem.

If the NFL wants a true win-win situation, they should advocate a move by the Raiders to Sacramento. They will still retain the TV rights to the Bay Area, while adding the Sacramento market (#20 in the nation). A new stadium can be developed for much less of the cost at the now abandoned Sleep Train Arena location (the site already has easy freeway access with over 11,000 parking spaces).

The Raiders (as well as the A's) need to distance themselves from the San Francisco market. They should go to Sacramento. There is great synergy there and two excellent locations for a new Raiders stadium (Cal Expo or the soon the be abandoned Sleep Train Arena site)

Sacramento is an excellent option. The two best locations are : 1. Cal Expo 2. Sleep Train Arena.

I think its premature to call a 30-40 year investment a success after just one year of operations. Let's see how its doing 5-10 years from now.

I believe what the pattern of attendance figures from Rivercats has shown, is a trend throughout the years of Sacramento being a baseball city that can support an MLB team. Hopefully, Lew Wolff and his partners get the idea.

Most every medical facility in San Francisco is surrounded by density and noise. That doesn't impede them from providing medical services to their patients. This being the case, why single out the Warriors arena project? Does UCSF want to shut down their Parnassus Ave. medical schools, and hospital, because of the thousands of people who visit Golden Gate Park on a daily basis?
