AT&T new plan to allow VoIP apps over their network will provide fair chance to other VoIP companies Truphone, Jajah or Vopium to penetrate. This deal is not a threat for skype it is better chance to promote VoIP and opportunity to for all the other companies.

Skype and Vopium significantly reduce my international calls expense, Hoiio is new name but i will see how it turn out in comparison of other VoIP apps.

Google Voice and Truphone local anywhere sound interesting there is another rumor that GV is about to make a deal with skype as well. If GV makes a deal with Truphone or Skype then it will be hard for Jajah, Nimbuzz, Vopium or fring to survive in mobile VoIP market.

Nokia made an impressive move by adding IM messaging service in their updates 2.0, they can also add VoIP client in their updates and that can eliminate the usage of Skype, vopium or Nimbuzz.

Fring updates for Windows mobile client sound interesting, Fring social messaging service is good but it is expensive as compare to Nimbuzz or vopium for Wifi calls.

VoIP services like Skype, Truphone or Vopium has significantly resolve the issue of roaming hassle but there are certain limitations due to the territories and i believe they will remain with them for some time.

Nimbuzz is not that impressive for VoIP calls, Nimbuzz & fring IM service is good but Vopium another VoIP service call tariff is cheap and voice quality is really good.

The N900 will run the Maemo OS 5 . It is a proper smartphone OS which will soon have all the apps you need.

It is not based on Symbian so it cannot run the current Ovi Apps however we might just see a section on the Ovi Store for Maemo Apps.

Nokia N900 designed is inspiration of imate jam, it looks more like an imate instead of pet nokia design. Is N900 has the standard S60 operating system which can support VoIP apps like Skype, Vopium and other Ovi apps on this device ?

Using nokia e50 and now e51 from almost last two years, I have tested lots of apps on my devices i.e Nimbuzz, Vopium, Youtube, skyforce and lot more, i can bet that E series is one the best nokia ever produced so far. Now planing to get hold on E71..

Nokia N97 Wifi is something exceptionally good, i use to browse websites, use Vopium and fring for Wifi calls and it gives me 100% result.
