The two other men were armed, and it's nearly impossible to believe they felt they were in danger. I do not accept the Critical Race Theory and have generally been critical of the Black Lives Matter movement. But I can't see any justification for what these men did, nor for their continuing to remain at large.

Re:

Mainwarning chooses to lead people into life with truth. Father Martin chooses to lull people into death with error. It's horrific to see leadership in the Catholic and Protestant churches promote these peddlers of euthanasia, but it's encouraging to see the number of people who still refuse to be put down by it.

Re: EvangelicaLGBTQ: Gay Activism vs. the Church’s Quiet Resignation

Very well put, Charles. That meant he no longer served there; no assumptions were warranted. And it was especially wrong for anyone to send her disrespectful or hateful messages based on their wrong assumptions.

But the complaint many of us still have is not with Dr. Brown but with Charisma. In last week's article, the magazine offered a positive take on Hammond's performance, described his homosexuality and his same-sex relationship in strictly neutral terms, referred to Soul Harvest Church as a place where he had served without clarifying their response to him (which was very relevant) then promoted the video of his performance.

This created confusion (see the comments on last week's article) and left some of us feeling that Charisma was passively, perhaps unintentionally, condoning and promoting a man who claims a Gay and Christian identity.

Re: Spirit-Filled Church Responds to Reports of Openly Gay Former Worship Leader - Charisma News

Dr. Brown, you and your church responded in a redemptive, Biblical way to this young man, Would to God that all churches and pastors showed the fidelity to grace and truth that you showed.

Besides which, the original Charisma article clearly stated that Ryan SERVED (past tense) as a worship leader at your church, so there was never a reason to assume you still had him on staff when he came out as openly gay, or that you condoned homosexuality.

Many of us who commented negatively on the article, myself included, had no quarrel with you.. But we were very concerned about the way Charisma presented this story.

The magazine offered a positive take on Ryan's performance, described his homosexuality and his same-sex relationship in strictly neutral terms, referred to your church as a place where he had served without clarifying your response to him (which was very relevant) then promoted the video of his performance. We feel the magazine was passively, perhaps unintentionally, condoning and promoting a man who claims a Gay and Christian identity.

For these reasons, we feel that Charisma showed very poor judgment and has a responsibility to clarify itself.

Re: Openly Gay Charismatic Worship Leader Performs Lauren Daigle Song on 'American Idol' - Charisma Magazine

Please be honest, Charisma magazine. I've found that churches lose a few notches of credibility when they hold off on stating their positions on homosexuality until they absolutely have to. Then it becomes a defensive move rather than an initiative one. It is very, very naive to think you can duck this issue in 2017 and beyond. It's better to clarify up front where you stand, in respectful, easy to understand terms. To do less is, often, to arouse suspicion of cowardliness or indecisiveness or general weakness.

Re: 5 Things Ann Coulter Got Wrong About Donald Trump

This is easily one of the best analysis I've seen so far on the conservative response to Trump, who I voted for and continue to uphold in prayer. If you believe the union being celebrated is right, then you should go. If you know it to be wrong, then you should not, whether the union is between believers or non-believers. It's downright dishonest to say "I Agree" by your attendance if, in fact, you don't agree. And if we think we are winning anybody over by making public compromises, then we are truly kidding ourselves.

Re: Many Heroes, So Little Heroism | Owen Strachan | First Things

These pastors have risked very little and gained considerably, at least in this life. They'll be praised as stalwart when, in fact, they've done nothing more than cave to social pressure and betray their calling as stewards of truth. Any comparison between them and the life-sacrificing pastors marching in Selma is simply obscene.

Re:
