Hey Jeff. Thanks for adding to the discussion. I was just thinking it would be nice to have a thorough "response" to the Shack out there. Then I had this question pop into my head; Why did a million resources come out about The DaVinci Code and nothing about this? Granted the "Code" was blatant heresy but, where is all of our Christian leaders on this one? Maybe I missed it.

I agree with your take on this. I too felt the theology of the Trinity a little off especially the equalitarian emphasis in their relationship. I appreciated the process of the character as well. I just felt that it clouded too many theological points and created more questions than answers. My concern is that young believers will take this as truth without questioning and reasoning what they've read.
