I was having a chat with a newcomer to Tuttle Club LA this morning and I couldn't help myself, instead of saying "if you do that you'll cock it all up" I said "don't pull a SpinVox". I'm not sure he got it but I chuckeled inside.
I feel bad for SpinVox but life is what it is. This situation reminds me of a few months ago when a FedEx exec bad mouthed the city he was flying into on Twitter.

I think my addiction to being connected and reachable would have started much earlier and I would have gotten Blackberry thumbs by the time I was 12.
In all seriousness I don't think my Dad would have been able to forget me at school as much. No really!

I think I would have been the coolest kid in school. I would have also racked up a huge bill. A few years back here in the States it cost me $30 for 30min/month. SMS was 10cents each. Data wasn't even an option.

I am uber excited about the E72. I think it will give us a huge improvement over the E71. I had the E75 out yesterday because I needed to tether using JoikuSpot to my laptop and my E71 has Euro 3G not US 3G. I really liked the OS but not the hardware so much. So I'm really excited to get the physical improvements but also the software improvements over the current E71 feature pack.

6310i is probably my all time favorite.
6190 changed the mobile world, that's when it went mainstream in the US.

I think Nokia just ran out of E and N series numbers they don't like to go below the 60's for E and 70's for N and there all out I heard after 3 more phones.

Ewan, I did something similar recently. I reduced my minutes from unlimited down to 700min/month, added 200 texts/month for $5 and kept my unlimited data (fair use policy applies). I felt very strange not having unlimited minutes but have only gone over my minutes once. I used to pay over $150/month and now have it down under $90/month for everything.

I'm thinking about adding another sim on this account because my T-Mobile sim stopped working. Can't decide if I really need to spend the money for another sim or not.

I'm pretty sure my BlueAnt can do what he's asking. Double check before purchase but I'm almost positive it will run both at the same time.

I scanned the QR code on my biz card and it's nice and fast but doesn't give much in the way of options to save the data or for that matter do anything with it.

It's almost a crime against humanity that the US carriers are pushing this junk on the unknowing consumer. Telling them this is hi tech when it's tech my 2 1/2 year old daughter doesn't even want, she wants a better phone (then again she goes straight for the Amex card and cash when she gets into my wallet) but that aside, it's an insult to the buyer and only hurting the carriers. If they sold the consumer a grade A handset that had a decent web browser they would make money from them surfing the net. It's so old fashion of them not to be pushing web and just SMS and calls. Let's not forget that the carriers probably make more money off of SMS then anything else, I have no solid evidence to back that up at the moment but I remember reading on here how cheap SMS is for the carriers.

I tried commenting earlier, I am definitely foaming at the mouth. I might even be over the E55 at this point. There are a few things I still need to find out about, but in the big scheme of things it won't keep me from getting this device.

I'm ready for it today and hope I can get a proto to play with.

No its not true, can't show in home screen like we want to be, its just a small icon on top, hate it.
