the voters approved by a large margin the bonds to build the new stadium. I wanted to place it downtown and leave the old one for UNM, however the republicans on the city council blocked that and chose to raze the old one. getyour facts straight.

I think we're mixing apples and kumquats. I was responding to new_mexican's 2nd paragraph. This is, as you say, a state issue and has nothing whatever to do with the Bush administration, or its shills like Limbaugh or Hannity. Its strictly a New Mexico problem

Apparently, Block, Jr. now says "in your face" and doesn't want to resign. That means more bad headlines for NM's Dem party. I think thats what Tripp is getting at.

I am sure the oil and gas industry will be upset about not being able to single handedly fund elections for their toadies anymore. Don't forget how they hijacked the whole republican party last year...remember drill baby drill! And they now have the chairmanship of the NM GOP with the Yates Petroleum company in charge.

In fact, there will probably be loopholes to this law but it is a tremendous step forward.

the USFS has been under the Ag department for many years. They considered the forests to be crops. Really. It should be turned back to Interior and melded with BLM at some point.

Yates Petroleum is trying to run all politics in this state. They like their windfall profits from public lands and will spend a lot of money to keep their republican and rouge democrat politicians in power.

This is a good development. Stop and think about how you would react if a private investigator hired by a political party knocked on your door and told you to prove who you are. The NM GOP stepped in a pile this time.

I was just thinking Mr. Foley that if you were living in Heinrich's district that you could have been arrested by Sheriff Darren White for your assault on referees. You of all people shouldn't be throwing stones here. At least be truthful.
