I've tested with the latest 2.8.4 release, and I am unable to reproduce the issue.

There is a known workaround at the moment. Checking the option "Comment count: Check this if you have a problem with comment counts not showing on permalinks" (see: http://wiki.disqus.net/WordPressHelp#CommentCou...), should fix the issue with the RSS feed.

Feel free to email me directly at jason@disqus.com

Thanks,
Jason

Re: Disqus and Wordpress 2.8

I've fixed the issue with not being able to see the status of the imports from our side. The variables need to be declared before the embed JavaScript. A good place to put the variables is in the HEAD section of your HTML.

Re: How to Permanently Delete Comments and Threads?

At the moment, there isn't a way to remove threads permanently, but I can do it for you. The styling that you would want to put inside of disqus_iframe_css would be anything that has to do with the reply form.

Re: You changed the Layout ?

The id "dsq-options" is back.

Re: Custom Css for iframe

For WordPress users: The issue with "disqus_iframe_css" not working is a bug that will be fixed today.

Re: You changed the Layout ?

Sorry for the delay. It seems strange that changing this variable would affect the upgrade as this is only used by our plugin. The plugin version that WordPress grabs is from the comments in the top of the file and the readme.

Re: Comment count not showing up after moving Wordpress install

Can you verify that you have <?php wp_footer(); ?> in your theme's footer.php?
