LEGO does this surprisingly often... I remember the midi-scale Star Destroyer had a bunch of white and red bits inside where they would never be seen.

Yes, all the parts are standard LEGO pieces, though there is the occasional piece that hasn't been in a set in 5-10 years. I get many of my pieces off of http://www.bricklink.com (or directly from LEGO) to keep from having to buy hundreds of the same sets. There will be over 10,000 1-by-2 dark orange "plate" pieces in this alone!

As an adult LEGO fan, I would tell you that within that community it's generally acceptable to say "I made this out of LEGO", though it's not actually grammatically correct. "I made this out of LEGOs" is DEFINITELY incorrect, and a term that will often make adult LEGO fans cringe!

LEGO is a brand. You shouldn't say something like "I made a bike sculpture out of Schwinn", or "I made a bike sculpture out of Schwinns"... but I think the latter would be more likely to be spoken. "I made a sculpture out of 5 Schwinn bikes" is a proper statement - "Schwinn bike" is a thing that can be pluralized, much like "LEGO brick" or "LEGO piece".

So yeah, "build the best video game boss you can out of LEGO bricks" would be much less likely to bring the grammar police... :-)

Regarding rule #2: It IS a written rule. It's called copyright and creative commons. Every Flickr photo has one or the other on it. By default, most peoples Flickr photos are copyrighted, as in "all rights reserved." I set all mine to Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons.

The big clinchers for me are Tab Mix Plus, Adblock Plus, Foxmarks, and Gmail Skins. Without those it's just not my kinda browser. Tab Mix Plus has problems with Flock. The other big thing would be the Firefox 2.0 features like automatic spell checking.
